Looks like Eddie Murphy's on a mission to make sure we're all ready to deck the halls and jingle all the way. He's joined forces with a mischievous elf for Candy Cane Lane - an epic Christmas adventure we'll be witnessing on the big screen pretty soon! Here are all the deets.
In the film, Eddie Murphy stars as Chris, a Christmas-loving dad who's about to go on the wildest journey of his life: he competes in his neighborhood contest to see if his Christmas decorations can knock anyone else's out of the block (literally). Determined to snatch the top prize, Chris makes a deal with Pepper, a mischievous elf, played by Jillian Bell. Pepper casts a spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life, turning the peaceful town into a chaotic holiday extravaganza. Now, it's up to Chris, his wife Carol (played by Tracee Ellis Ross), and their three kids to save Christmas, break Pepper's spell, and battle some deviously magical characters along the way.
So it doesn't seems like this will be your typical holiday movie. Director Reginald Hudlin enthusiastically said, "I can say confidently you've never seen a holiday movie like this." Fans can expect jump scares, car chases, kung-fu fighting, and, of course, all those warm and fuzzy holiday vibes. The movie's cast will include Thaddeus J. Mixson, Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, Robin Thede, Chris Redd, Genneya Walton, Madison Thomas, D.C. Young Fly, Riki Lindhome, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Lombardo Boyar, Danielle Pinnock, and Timothy Simons. We can definitely expect some series belly laughs.

Hudlin appears to be super excited about this holiday flick, saying, "I can't wait for the world to see Candy Cane Lane. I've wanted to make a Christmas movie my whole life, but I wanted to do something fresh and surprising." We can't wait to see it either! Candy Cane Lane will be available on Prime Video starting December 1st. Be sure not to miss it!
