The actress celebrated the end of production for Peacock's new comedy, Girls5Eva, by posting some behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram. The sentimental caption has us excitedly awaiting the show's release.

Filming for Girls5Eva recently wrapped up, and, lucky for us, Busy Philipps shared some off-camera shots on social media as she commemorated the end of production. The pictures give a sneak peek into some of the sequin-filled glam featured on the show and a sweet insight into the friendships that developed off camera.

"I tell people I 'quit' acting because I couldn't deal with the heartbreak - it just wasn't worth it for me anymore," Philipps wrote alongside the pictures. "But then Tina Fey called and said, 'Hey! wanna stay in NYC and do this show GIRLS5EVA with us?' Oh my god. OBVIOUSLY YES." The starlet describes how the "bonkers comedy" filled with music and dancing is about women defying expectations and being themselves.

"What I can tell you is that if even HALF of the joy that we all had making it translates to your screens, you will be obsessed... I know I've been SO SO LUCKY in my career but this show really takes the cake," Busy continued. "So all I have to say is that I'm eternally grateful to have been able to have had this JOY with these incredible people making this insanity called Girls5eva."

Hamilton's Renee Elise Goldsberry, comedian Paula Pell, and singer Sara Bareilles star alongside Philipps as the show's main characters. Emily in Paris's Ashley Park and the hilarious Andrew Rannells have recurring roles. The series follows "a one-hit-wonder girl group from the '90s that reunites to give their pop star dreams one more shot," as the synopsis describes.

The upcoming comedy features an all-star crew on and off the screen. The impressive list of executive producers includes the legendary Tina Fey, Emmy-winning writer Meredith Scardino, and 30 Rock producer Robert Carlock. Let's just say as soon as the release date is announced, we'll be setting a countdown on our phones.
