No doubt, no doubt, no doubt: Jake Peralta's character might not exactly, um, be the most mature, and could definitely use a pointer or two when it comes to his one-liners, but he's clearly done something right because he's officially just landed a spot on the big screen... alongside the Pontiac Bandit.
Are you freaking out as much as we were?

A Deadline reported, New York's finest crime-stopper and the notorious Doug Judy will be starring alongside one another for the upcoming comedy, Super High; And, yes, it's exactly what you think it's about. Here's what you need to know...

Thanks to award-winning author, Adam Mansbach, we'll be following along on an action-packed superhero's journey, where smoking, um, special greens, gives mortals special superpowers.

That's right, sorry, Captain Holt, but Peralta's Halloween heisting is officially going to have to be put on hold until further notice. So, when exactly can we expect to catch the dynamic duo on our screens?

While a release date has yet to be announced, something tells us season 8 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will happily tie you over in the meantime. Yep, in case you forgot, in only a matter of months, we'll be seeing Scully, Hitchcock, and the whole gang, as they continue to take bad guys off of the streets (or at least try to).

Until then? Go ahead and brush up on your Died Hard - for Jake, not us. Oh, and be sure to stay tuned for all of the latest updates, of course.
