HBO has officially dropped the trailer for Bill Maher's newest stand-up comedy special, Bill Maher: #Adulting - and we can't wait. Something about the combination of one of the greatest comedians of all time, HBO, and this very relevant hashtag feels right. The one-hour special will, of course, discuss some very adult matters from the 66-year-old adult himself, so let's take a look at what we know so far!
The feature will star the political comedy genius, Bill Maher, taking on some of the hottest topics of the modern generation, so strap in. The comedy was written and executively produced by Maher and directed by Ryan Polito. It was originally filmed in March at the 2400-seat Filmore Theater in Miami. The comedic genius's first HBO special dates all the way back to 1989, and since then has starred in 11 headlining specials, such as Bill Maher: Live from D.C. and Be More Cynical. Best known for his hilarious yet sometimes controversial HBO chat show, Real Time with Bill Maher, the show is currently in its 20th season and has just been renewed for two more seasons through 2024.

The freshly dropped trailer for #Adulting shows Maher jumping right on in, giving fans roughly a minute of what is expected from the special. He discusses how every generation is the "what were you thinking generation" and how he would never get plastic surgery not because he has anything against it but because it would just make him look "old and weird." He hilariously comments on how people need to stop arguing with their third-grade classmates on Facebook. LOL. The trailer ends with Maher talking about how people never discussed politics the way they do now, and "they had no idea how much they hated each other." If all of that happened in just one minute, we're excited for what the other 59 minutes will be like!
