Licorice Pizza takes you back to the 1970s – the locations, the way of talking, the newfound forms of self-expression and nostalgia. We’re not quite sure what drew us to watch this movie, but we stayed till the end because it leaves a good taste and feels for your senses.
Cooper Hoffman and Alana Haim offer their best in this romantic study set in California’s San Fernando Valley. Not any particular element stood out in the movie, but the combined effect keeps us glued to the screen for 2 hours. This is the kind of movie that everyone experiences differently, and we think you should give it a try.
Marry Me (2022)
There’s nothing out of the ordinary with Marry Me’s plot, but you’ll be surprised by how delightful this movie is. Kat Valdez, the sexiest female music star finds out that she’s been cheated on by her superstar fiancé Bastian, right before they’re about to exchange their vows.
A meltdown causes her and decides to marry Charlie, a divorced high-school teacher in front of 20 million people. Schmigadoon! (2021)

Next up on our list, The Shrink Next Door is an upcoming series on Apple TV+ that is set to debut on November 12, 2021. The show will tell the true story of the psychiatrist to the stars, Dr. Isaac "Ike" Herschkopf. It will center around his relationship with his patient Martin "Marty" Markowitz. It is a dark comedy, inspired by the podcast of the same name by Joe Nocera. The story of the doctor and his patient is bizarre and goes on for 30 years. The show will feature Paul Rudd as the psychiatrist, Will Ferrell as the patient, Kathryn Hahn as the patient's wife, and more.
A little more insight is available for this upcoming series. Namely, the doctor will slowly insert himself into the patient's life - to the extent that he decides to move into his patient's home. Yes, really. Also, he will manipulate the patient to a great extent. This show is all the buzz these days, and people are waiting impatiently to flip on Apple TV and binge all the episodes when they come out.
Acapulco (2021)
Acapulco is our second-to-last entry in our Best comedies on Apple TV list. It tells the story of twenty-something-year-old Máximo, who gets the job of his dreams. More specifically, he starts to work as a cabana boy at the hottest resort in Acapulco. However, he soon realizes that his job is more complicated than he thought. Also, he must learn how to please his demanding clientele and his mentor to succeed.
It is a Spanish and English-language comedy series inspired by How to Be a Latin Lover. The series' creators are Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman. It promises an exciting plot, funny comebacks, and many plot twists that the audience will not expect!
On the Rocks (2020)
