Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its next comedy series, and we can't stop laughing and smiling. Starring Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne, the 10-part series Platonic is set to premiere its first three episodes on May 24, with the remaining episodes dropping weekly until the finale on July 12.

The trailer introduces us to Sylvia, Byrne's character, who is married with kids, and living the typical suburban life. But when she finds out that her old best friend, Will, played by Rogen, is going through a divorce, she decides to call him after not speaking to him in years. The trailer captures the two of them reconnecting and getting into hilarious situations that seem to be representative of their past. Per the show's official logline, their friendship eventually "becomes all-consuming — and destabilizes their lives in a hilarious way." It also gives us a little look at the drama that ensues between Sylvia and her husband, Charlie, played by Luke Macfarlane, after the duo starts spending so much time together.

Byrne and Rogen look like absolute naturals together, and well, it's because they actually go way back to co-starring in the iconic 2014 movie Neighbors! Fellow Neighbors co-star Carla Gallo will also appear in the upcoming series alongside Rogen and Byrne, as well as Tre Hale and Andrew Lopez. The movie's director, Nick Stoller, also created and directed the upcoming series.

Byrne currently stars in another Apple TV+ show, Physical, where she plays a trapped housewife in the '80s in San Diego, but after finding a love for aerobics, she builds an entire empire off of the workout regiment. The show is scheduled to return this year for a third season. However, Platonic is the Superbad actor's first-ever series with the streamer. Rogen is currently working on another untitled comedy series for Apple TV+ that he will direct, write, and executive produce with his partner, Evan Goldberg. So stay tuned for more details about Rogen's next project, and make sure to catch the premiere of Platanoic of Apple TV+ on May 24.
