We may already know all about his fanny-pack wearing days, thanks to his BFF Kevin Hart, or his signature “people’s eyebrow," but there's actually a whole lot more we don't know about Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Well, lucky for us, it appears we're about to be getting a whole lot of answers.

Yep, not only is an autobiographical comedy series, inspired by our favorite wrestler, on its way to our screens, but it's actually going to feature the man of honor, himself - and we've never been more excited. So, what can you expect, exactly?

Aside from a whole lot of laughs (an obvious at this point), the upcoming comedy, titled, Young Rock, will be based on 'The Rock' and his "Forrest Gump-ian life growing up as a kid," as the funny guy himself put it. In other words, expect, "All of the ups and downs, crazy stories that have accumulated over the years," Johnson teased.

If, by some chance, you're still not convinced? Filming is already well underway, which means you'll be able to see for yourself what all of the hype is about in only a matter of time. Well, in 2021, that is. While the NBS series has yet to be given a release date, the 11-episode sitcom is set to hit our screens sometime in January, as WrestlingINC reported.

So, who'll be gracing our screens in the upcoming special? With production set in the land down under, Young Rock will be introducing some fresh new faces, with Australian actors such as Uli Latukefu and Stacey Leilua, who'll be playing a teenaged 'Rock' and his mother, respectively.

Oh, and don't you worry, 'The Rock' will be there at all times, making sure his retold childhood is "Authentic... the good, the bad, the heartbreaking, the heartwarming and the f****** hilarious." Yep, 2021 officially can't come sooner. Until then, stay tuned.
