Sometimes, a belly laugh is needed to turn a frown upside down. And while it's certainly been a crazy time, this list of comedies to look forward to in 2021 is sure to lift any mood by the time credits roll. With familiar faces like Eddie Murphy to Emma Stone, here's what to look forward to!

Come March 5th, the hilarious Eddie Murphy will return to a plot he knows from over 3 decades ago. Reuniting with former co-star Arsenio Hall, they will take over the big screen again in Coming 2 America. A brief 33 years after the original film debuted, Murphy is expected to catch us up with Prince Akeem Joffer in the sequel.

Next is an action-comedy starring Ryan Reynolds. He plays a man who becomes caught inside a video game universe that he doesn't control. This long-awaited movie was supposed to drop in 2020, but Reynolds was trapped inside the game a bit longer. But, come May 21st, he'll finally be a Free Guy! (See what we did there)?

From La La Land to Easy A, Emma Stone has repeatedly proven that she can rock any roll. This time, she's coming to the screen as the one and only, Cruella de Vil. Come May 28th, we get to experience Stone's villainous side as Disney's 101 Dalmations revamp, Cruella, takes over the big screen. Puppies everywhere, beware.

Imagine this: Ghosts + monsters + Bill Murray + Paul Rudd. What does that equal? A hilarious addition to the Ghostbusters franchise! This time, we can expect to see some familiar faces. Namely, Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfhard. Mark your calendars for June 11th, when we can expect a big belly laugh from Ghostbusters: Afterlife

This time, instead of MJ, LeBron James is stepping in to play ball with Bugs Bunny and co. The Warner Bros. playbook is wide open, meaning this comedy can include any character!
