This dad can rock it out! A video of Step Brothers actor Will Ferrell has surfaced, and it has fans dancing along. The footage captures Ferrell showing off his DJ skills and dance moves at the USC Trojan Family Weekend. Here’s everything you need to know about the hilarious viral video.
The actor was DJing at the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity tailgate party at the University of Southern California during the Trojan Family Weekend. Not only is Ferrell an alumnus of the famed university, which is located in Los Angeles, but his eldest child, Magnus, is currently attending the school. The hilarious video shows Ferrell wearing a zip-up hoodie, a backward Trojan cap, and a pair of headphones as he stands behind the DJ booth. Students surrounded him as he served up some serious beats. The actor is seen clapping along to the beat of Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger. The tailgate was before the Trojans faced up against the University of Arizona Wildcats. Sounds like a great time!
This isn’t the first time that the Elf actor has gotten involved at the school. While he was attending as a student, he earned a bachelor’s degree in sports broadcasting. The actor himself was part of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity and was known for getting involved in pranks during his four years at USC. Upon graduating, he always kept his alma mater close to him. Ferrell gave a crowd-pleasing and laugh-out-loud commencement speech for his alma mater back in 2017. During the ceremony, the university bestowed him with an honorary doctorate along with a spinal surgeon, a pioneer in AIDS research, and Dame Helen Mirren. The comedian joked, “And then there’s me, Will Ferrell, whose achievements include running naked through the city of Montrose in Old School.” He continued later on, “I think my fellow doctorates would agree, based on our achievements, we are all on equal footing.”

Ferrell gave his words of wisdom and told students to “trust your gut” and to “keep throwing darts at the dart board. Don’t listen to the critics, and you will figure it out.” Ferrell ended his speech with a song, as he belted out I Will Always Love You to the graduates.
