Nick Cannon has been the butt of many jokes recently. As his growing number of kids and baby mamas have reached new heights, The Masked Singer decided to speak on the matter once and for all. And in typical comedian style, it came with some jokes.
The former host of The Nick Cannon Show got real during his Power 106 Los Angeles radio show and cleared up the air. According to the Hollywood figure, he's been "having these kids on purpose" amidst claims that some of the pregnancies were accidents. But the more, the merrier for Nick, who has welcomed seven children over the years. Cannon had two children with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, two kids with model Brittany Bell, twins with DJ Abby De La Rosa. And finally, baby number seven was rumored to come from a speculated relationship between Cannon and Alyssa Scott.
Now that we got the family tree and timeline out of the way, what did Nick have to say for himself? Well, the former Wild 'n Out host spoke his piece all while keeping it lighthearted and funny. "I don't have no accident," the 40-year-old comedian said. "Trust me; there's a lot of people that I could've gotten pregnant that I didn't." He went on to add, "the ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant."
So, according to this statement, all seven children were conceived on purpose. And in that case, what drove Cannon to want so many kids? The comedian had a special metaphor for his family-style, and listeners of the Power 106 Los Angeles show couldn't help but crack up. "I'm like a seahorse out here," the jokester shared. "That's just the way I'm procreating."
Cannon's explanation sure cleared up a lot, but it hasn't exactly stopped the teasing coming his way. But as long as Nick and the fam are happy, then it's all good, right? One thing's for sure, by the time these kids grow up, he's going to have enough finger painting masterpieces to fill up a whole art gallery! Stay tuned for more funny celeb news coming your way.
