Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson gave us another reason to absolutely love him! Its prom szn and The Rock ended up being "the best date a person could ask for." Well, sort of. A photo of The Rock and his 18-year-old prom date, Mel, went viral this past week, and we are loving it! Do we think he won prom king?

Well, Dwayne Johnson didn't actually attend this high-school student's prom - but a cutout version of the 6 foot 4 actor did! A hilarious high school student decided the best way to go to prom with her favorite actor was to create a cardboard cutout of him all dressed up, have them color-coordinated (duh), and take him out for the night. Mel uploaded a series of photos of her with the Red Notice actor posing for pre-prom pics as a couple, with her friends, and at the prom itself! "Thank you, @therock, for taking me to prom. I had so much fun. Best date a person could ask for." Honestly, we're sure he would be!

It looks like Johnson caught wind of the invite and re-posted the pics to his Instagram! "It was absolutely my honor, @smilesweetsraccoon, and you were the best prom date EVER!!" With much enthusiasm, he wrote, "Great to meet your family and friends too! Ps, I'm super happy you posted! Have the best summer! DJ." What a guy. Fans loved his re-post, commenting, "How adorable truly. The rocks generosity knows no bounds," where another user wrote, "A true gentleman." Not to mention the thousands of followers who commented with a whole lotta hearts, showing endless love for The Rock at his big prom debut!

The loved and celebrated actor is known for frequently interacting with his fans and showing them love! From shouting out his doppelgangers to pulling up to celebrity tour buses, and that one time he gave his People's Choice Award to a Make-A-Wish recipient, there is a reason why he is a fan favorite! In a 2019 interview on Live With Kelly and Ryan, Johnson explained, "It's the easiest part of my job I think, to be kind and take pictures and sign an autograph." He continued, "Literally, it's the easiest thing….When I was 15, I heard a quote that was 'It's nice to be important, it's more important to be nice.'" As if we couldn't love him any more...
