The Good as Hell artist won the daughter of the year award after surprising her mom with the ultimate birthday present: a brand new wardrobe. The video, which has reached nearly 6 million views, on Tik Tok captured Lizzo guiding her glammed-up momma into a closet filled with clothes. The Truth Hurts singer kept it cool by asking mom what she thought of the clothes in the walk-in closet. "These are your clothes!" the Grammy-winning artist finally squealed.

Once her mother fully understood what was happening, the birthday lady was overcome with emotion. The fans in Lizzo's comments couldn't believe how generous the singer was and commended her for pulling out all the stops for her momma's special day. She even got a shout-out from funny lady, Ilana Glazer. The former Broad City star hit up Lizzo's comments, writing, "aww she is so beautiful n gonna look fly," followed by a flame emoji.
Lizzo further broke down the surprise for us in her video caption. "Ever since daddy passed, you've been telling me it's been hard to dress nice for yourself," the superstar confessed. "I know I can't bring ur best friend back... but I still wanna give you the world. Happy birthday mommy, I love you." But it wouldn't be a Lizzo caption without a little flare at the end.
