Remember when Shia LeBeouf got caught stealing a Gameboy? Or how about the time Matthew McConaughey was brought in after a college party? While they've since turned their lives around, these stars' realities once looked very differently…
When tragedy struck the movie set of Rust in 2021, and the film's cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot, everyone wanted answers. With Alec Baldwin believed to be the man behind the weapon, it was largely speculated whether charges would be held against him for this allegedly mistaken act.
Cut to February 2023, and the Santa Fe County, New Mexico, district attorney's office has announced that the actor and film producer, Alec Baldwin, will be criminally charged with involuntary manslaughter. Although court proceedings have yet to begin, Baldwin's lawyers have emphasized his innocence. Stay tuned with this one.
Those tax reports don't lie! Or do they? Shakira may be a superstar pop singer, but according to the Spanish authorities, she hates tax day as much as the rest of us. After years of fighting off claims, the Spanish government has maintained they have enough evidence to prove the Hips Don't Lie singer is lying.
According to the claim, the singer defrauded the Spanish government of $14.5 million euros between 2012 and 2014, when she is believed to have lived in the country without paying taxes. Shakira has denied any guilt and maintains that her residency was never long enough to become a tax-paying citizen. A trial date has not been set.
Rapper Young Thug can't seem to stop having run-ins with the law. In December 2022, while waiting in jail for his gang indictment trial date, the YSL artist found himself facing four more charges. This includes a number of driving-related crimes, such as street racing, reckless driving, and speeding.
The main incident behind these charges is believed to have taken place in May 2021, which saw Thugger driving at speeds of 120 miles an hour on the interstate with no seatbelt. The big trial finally began in January 2023 and has yet to conclude in a verdict. For now, at least.
The once beacon of hope for Silicon Valley, Elizabeth Holmes, suffered a tremendous downfall when allegations began to circulate that her billion-dollar med-tech company was entirely fraudulent. Theranos, which promised to conduct hundreds of tests with just a drop of blood, was ordered to shut down operations in 2019.
Following that, the CEO was charged with fraud for deceiving hundreds of investors about the machine's efficacy. After a long-drawn-out trial, which experienced many breaks due to various circumstances, Holmes was found guilty in November 2022. She was sentenced to 11 years in jail.
Tory Lanez, the rapper known for songs such as Luv and Talk To Me, was found guilty in December 2022 for a range of firearm-related charges. Lanez, who is legally named Daystar Peterson, was arrested in relation to a 2020 shooting involving rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
According to Stallion, Peterson shot her in the feet after a party in Hollywood Hills. The charges included: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, negligent discharge of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. Despite pleading his innocence, he was found guilty and could face up to 22 years in jail.
A$AP Rocky's life has always been a little rocky when it comes to staying above the law. The rapper has found himself arrested on numerous occasions and in a variety of countries on a selection of charges. Most recently, the arrest hit a little closer to home when he was arrested at the LA International Airport in April 2022.
Flying in from Barbados, the relaxing vacation took a turn for the worse when the rapper was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. According to the LAPD, this charge was in reference to an incident dating back to November 2021, when Rocky was alleged to have shot a man and fled. After posting bail, he has yet to stand trial.
Ezra Miller may have played The Flash, but even superheroes can apparently have run-ins with the law. After a trip to Vermont led to him being accused of stealing "several bottles of alcohol" from an empty home, the actor was charged with felony burglary.
This was not the first time Ezra had been involved with law enforcement, with years of various disorderly conduct charges on their rap sheet. Miller pleaded not guilty in October 2022, only to later plead guilty to the lesser crime of trespassing and have the burglary charges dropped.
Comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish was arrested in January 2022 when it was alleged that she had been driving under the influence in Peachtree City, Georgia. After receiving a call about a driver on the highway sleeping at the wheel, the Georgia police identified Haddish and arrested her.
After posting bail, the star was released from Fayette County Jail. Appearing virtually on Jimmy Fallon, Haddish addressed the incident. "I can say this, Jimmy, I've been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man, and God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform. I got a really great lawyer, and we're gonna work it out."
Johnny Depp & Amber Heard
While Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's most recent domestic abuse trial may have been the most newsworthy, both parties were not unfamiliar with taking the stand. In 1989 and 1994, the Pirates of the Caribbean star was arrested and charged with various hotel-based misdemeanors.
It's alleged that Heard was arrested in 2009, prior to the infamous domestic-abuse trial. At the time, it was believed that the actress was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence after hitting her partner Tasya van Ree. Although these charges were eventually dropped, Depp's legal team used this incident in the case against her.
From Netflix star to suspected criminal, Tiger King star Doc Antle suffered a mighty fall when he was amongst a group of people charged with wildlife trafficking and money laundering. According to the allegations, Antle and his co-conspirators were illegally trafficking wildlife in direct violation of US law.
In addition, the team was accused of falsifying records for these animals, which included lemurs, cheetahs, and others. An additional indictment also alleged that Antle had laundered over $500,000, which he earned while illegally smuggling in immigrants. The trial has been postponed to June 2023.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - right? Well, not so sure about that one. In fact, allow our first famous face to remind us otherwise. Back in 2010, as Bruno Mars's solo single propped him front and center, he was hit with a massive wake-up call.
On September 19, in the bathroom of the Hard Rock casino, Peter Gene Hernandez (who we know as Bruno Mars) was arrested for possession of illegal substances. "I was young, man!" Mars joked of the exchange. Luckily, the charges were soon dropped, and he walked away with a valuable lesson: "It can all be taken away," he reflected.
Unfortunately for our next star, his run-ins with the law are just as extensive. But believe it or not, LeBeouf's time behind bars started at just 9 years-old. Yep. What happened? He stole a pair of Nike Cortez from a California shop and was held for 6 hours, as he revealed in his 2015 book Prison Ramen.
But just two years later, Shia was charged with stealing a Gameboy Pokémon from Kmart. Since then, he's been met with endless charges, from DUIs to bar fights to disorderly conduct. And while he's currently tangled in a legal dispute with his ex, FKA twigs, we hope to see only great things from the Disney star moving forward.
A white Ford Bronco, a freeway lined with eager fans, many, many cop cars: June 17, 1994, went down in history as one of the most memorable car-chases ever. Perhaps that's because the man behind the wheel was none other than former NFL star, O.J. Simpson.
After being charged with the murder of his wife and her friend, Simpson hopped in a car and headed for the freeway as he went from football star to fugitive. But after a heated trial, O.J. was eventually found innocent (cue *the gloves*). (Though we should mention he was arrested years later for a robbery in a Vegas hotel room.)
Back in 1995, as Kid Rock was sipping whiskey out the bottle, not thinking 'bout tomorrow, things went downhill real quick. From that point until about 1997, the beloved rocker found himself in and out of jail for alcohol-related charges. But by 2005, it was actually his music that got him locked up.
Or should we say, lack thereof? After a DJ refused to play the singer's requested music one fateful night, Kid Rock decked him in the face. He was charged with assault, something he'd face again in 2007 after a scuffle outside a Waffle House. But based on his smile in the (above) mug shot that followed? We'd say he was just fine…
Robert Downey Jr.
Sure, he may play a successful, suave billionaire on our screens. But back in 1996, the Iron Man star's reality wasn't quite as glamorous. Unfortunately, the actor found himself in severe legal trouble after joyriding along Sunset Boulevard one fateful summer night.
Downey had been in possession of illegal substances, including a firearm. Only his troubles were just getting started - and he soon went on to serve almost a year at state prison. "It's not that difficult to overcome these seemingly ghastly problems... what's hard is to decide to do it," he reflected on turning his life around.
Is it too late now to say sorry? The global heartthrob has found himself in quite a lot of trouble over the years. "Not my finest hour. Not proud of where I was at in my life," the reinvented artist reflected on his younger years. From mischievous womanizer to married man, Bieber's done a total 180 since then.
Back in the day, the star was charged with several offenses - from DIU to drag racing to everything in between (including, of course, the time he egged his neighbor's house). But he wouldn't want it any other way: "My encouragement to you is to let your past be a reminder of how far God has brought you," Bieber reflected.
Most of us remember when she stepped out wearing the same outfit as Regina George. But unfortunately for the Mean Girls star, her time in Hollywood has called for lots more than just Kalteen bars and Jingle Bell Rocks. Back in '07, Lohan had her first taste of legal trouble after being charged with a DUI. Sadly, it wouldn't be her last.
From alleged jewelry theft to allegedly assaulting a fellow clubgoer, Lohan's been met with several charges since then. Thankfully, after completing rehab and community service, the actress became probation-free in 2015. Since then, she's seemed to have done a total 180, and we can't wait to see what the future brings...
Unlike many of our other famous faces, Shailene Woodley's time in orange didn't involve any mysterious substances or circumstance. In fact, she'll be the first to remind us about her hours behind bars - as brief as they may have been. "You are a caged animal," she griped of the controversial exchange. What happened?
On a fateful day in October 2016, the actress was taken in for her part in protesting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Woodley was charged with criminal trespassing and engaging in a riot. And while she was eventually released later that same day, she'll never forget her time at North Dakota's Morton County Jail.
It was a typical Tuesday morning back in '95 when the name "Divine Brown" was morphed into a household name. Ring a bell? On June 27, as cops were patrolling around Sunset Boulevard at 2 a.m., they stumbled across a parked BMW. Little did they know, there was an international star behind the wheel.
Unfortunately, after cops busted Hugh Grant and escort Divine Brown for engaging in "an act of lewd conduct," it wasn't long before it found its way online. And while the charges were eventually dropped after a $1,000 fine, the explosive scandal will forever live on in Hollywood.
A whole lot has changed since we watched the blonde heartthrob first sing about wanting candy on our screens. In 2007, the I Want Candy pop star was pulled over in Texas after allegedly swerving all over the road. Unfortunately, what cops soon discovered was no laughing matter.
After being pulled over for speeding, the star was found in possession of illegal substances. Fast forward to 2017, and Carter was arrested, again, for suspicion of driving under the influence. "To my brother: I love u no matter what… I'm here and willing to help you get better," Nick Carter had shared at the time. Agreed.
Unfortunately, Snooki's gym-tan-laundry time was cut short back in 2010 after partying, um, a little too hard over in Seaside Heights. Ring a bell? Perhaps that's because the Jersey Shore star herself isn't shy about rehashing her former wild times on our screen.
After having a wee bit too much to drink, the reality star was famously arrested for "acting in a disorderly matter." As Snooki put it, it was perhaps "the most dysfunctional & awesome period in my life." Safe to say, the now-married mama of 3 has come a long way since then. And we couldn't be prouder.
Here's a secret we will tell: Back in 2010, one of the Upper East Side's finest landed himself in a pretty sticky situation. As the story goes, Chace Crawford has been parked outside a Texas pub in his friend's Nissan when things took a sudden turn. What happened?
Police found the actor in possession of then-illegal marijuana and brought him down to the station. Luckily, the star managed to strike a plea deal which led to the charge being erased. But can we talk about that picture for a second? If there's anyone who can manage to look good in their mug shot, of course, it's Mr. Archibald.
Amanda, please! From labeling fellow celebs as "ugly" (sorry, Drake) to altering her appearance, our next star's time in Hollywood has been anything but boring. But where did it all start? After making it big back in the '90s, the Nickelodeon actress went on to become a household name. That was, until she retired in 2010.
But while she may have said bye to the big screen, she hasn't gone anywhere. From hit-and-runs to DIUs (as seen above), Bynes' name has continued to dominate headlines. And she's got big plans moving forward. "She looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toe back into acting," her lawyer revealed back in 2016.
Hug me, Brotha! Remember when Drake Bell's biggest concerns were keeping an eye out for another one of Megan's booby traps or scoring another girl's digits? Safe to say, the Nickelodeon star's time off-screen has since called for much bigger troubles.
In 2015, the Drake & Josh actor was charged with a DUI. And in 2020, an ex came forward about alleged abuse on his end. But fast forward to today, and Bell is currently tangled up in a whole new scandal: child endangerment charges, stemming from a 2017 incident at a club with a 15-year-old. Stay tuned as this saga continues...
Don't recognize the guy in that mug shot? That's okay. For most of us, we'll always remember Culkin as the wide-eyed blond-haired troublemaker who dominated our screens each and every holiday season. Safe to say, a whole lot has changed for the Home Alone star.
In 2014, the actor was arrested in Oklahoma City for possession of then-illegal marijuana and two controlled substances. But despite the road bumps along the way, he's actually pleased with the way things have panned out. "It's allowed me to become the person I am," Culkin reflected. "And I like me, so I wouldn't change a thing."
Don't remember The Weeknd's time behind bars? One quick listen to his 2020 hit, Faith should help fill in the missing pieces. "You hear sirens at the end of the song – that's me in the back of the cop car, that moment," as the artist eventually revealed.
Just 6 years ago, what the artist calls "the darkest time" of his life, the Starboy caught himself in hot water during a trip to Vegas. On January 10, 2015, at the Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas, Abel Tesfaye was arrested for assaulting a police officer. "It was a real rock-star era, which I'm not really proud of."
He might be a heavyweight champ, but outside the boxing rings? Mike Tyson's been met with lots of blows. Unfortunately, after several documented crimes committed during his youth, such as pickpocketing, the boxer was faced with more serious offenses come 1991.
Tyson was met with several charges regarding sexual misconduct after a pageant contestant had come forward. But despite serving over 3 years in jail, as a result, he went on to face more scandal. From assault to DUI charges, we're glad to see that his spirits remained high (based on that shot, at least).
On November 27, 2009, Tiger Woods made headlines as footage of his demolished SUV found its way onto our feeds. Why had his wife smashed the car's windows with a golf club? Of course, it wasn't long before we found out her husband was intoxicated behind the wheel.
But despite facing a citation for the accident, the golfer soon went on to face much bigger woes. In 2017, he was found asleep at the wheel of his Mercedes. The cause? As documents reported, he was under the influence of sleeping pills, among other substances. Woods entered probation, and his DUI charges were eventually dropped.
With blonde locks and blue eyes, the charming starlet was once Hollywood's golden girl. Unfortunately, things took a sharp turn by the time 2008 came rolling around. From rehab to driving under the influence, the actress found herself in several run-ins with the law as her time on our screens suddenly came to a halt.
Fast forward to 2010, and the star was arrested for a hit-and-run before being charged for domestic violence a few years later. Sadly, though, that's not all: the actress has since been charged with assaulting a police officer. And while we'll have to wait and see how this one plays out, we wish Miss Locklear nothing but the best.
That's hot. While the thought of Paris Hilton sporting a cotton, orange jumpsuit might be hard to imagine, that's exactly what once happened. Unfortunately, after being pulled over back in 2006, the reality-star was met with serious allegations. And they soon led to time behind bars.
It all started in 2006 when Hilton was charged with a DUI thanks to "one margarita" on an empty stomach - as she put it. But fast forward to 2007, and the blonde beauty was sentenced to 45 days in jail for a probation violation. Thankfully, she was released early for good behavior and has been living her best life ever since.
Back in 1999, Matthew McConaughey was just another college grad looking to celebrate their football team's latest win. Safe to say, that's one celebration he'll never forget. After partying through the wee hours of the night, the University of Texas at Austin alumn was met with bigger problems than just a splitting headache.
6 cop cars and 40 onlookers later, the actor was brought to the Austin Police Station after a neighbor's noise complaint escalated real quick. He was charged with possession of illegal substances, disturbing the peace, and resisting arrest. Luckily, McConaughey's charges were soon dropped - and we'll never be able to unhear this one.
"I just want to get it behind me and get back to spending time with my little girl and making music," Marshall Mathers had confessed at the time: Back in 2000, the rapper was slapped with not one - but two - legal woes after allegedly carrying a concealed weapon and using it to assault a stranger.
What happened? Apparently, it all started when Slim caught his then-wife Kim locking lips with a Mr. John Guerra outside a sports bar in Michigan. After striking Guerra several times with an unloaded weapon, Eminem's charges were eventually dropped - thanks to probation and a cool $100,000 payout.
Here's something we never expected to hear: The Vampire Diaries' golden girl was once arrested for "flashing." But wait, it's not what it sounds like. Back in 2009, right before we first met Elena Gilbert, the actress found herself caught up in one messy scandal - and a whole lot of confusion.
What happened? Dobrev, along with several of her female co-stars, was arrested thanks to tips from unnamed onlookers. As they alleged, the women were "flashing an interstate overpass." "And we're like, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa. The only thing that's flashing is our camera," co-star Kayla Ewell assured of the misunderstanding.
Just because he's a Lord doesn't mean it's always been smooth sailing. In fact, long before he found his way onto our screens, the reality-star had quite the bumpy ride - literally. At just 18 years old, Disick found himself behind bars after a wild night out on the town in Riverhead, New York.
The star was apparently arrested for a DUI after crashing his car one fateful night. Thankfully, he's since learned from his mistakes - and hopes his little ones can, too. "Let me teach you and build from here that this is not the life you want to lead," he explained. Bible, we couldn't agree more.
"Kim, would you stop taking pictures of yourself? Your sister's going to jail." It's two sentences that will live on in reality tv's hall of fame, forever. But whether one remembers watching Kimmy try and find that car's perfect lighting or not, most of us remember the events that preceded.
On March 4, 2007, Khloé Kardashian was arrested for being intoxicated behind the wheel. After failing to abide to the probation that followed, KoKo was then sentenced to 30 days behind bars. As we know, though, her time in an orange jumpsuit lasted only 3 hours after getting released due to overcrowding.
Flip on any Vince Vaughn movie, and you'll almost never find him without a smile on his face. He's the sarcastic, funny guy you'd wanna grab a beer with. Unfortunately, the actor's time off-screen wasn't always all fun and games. Back in 2001, he found himself at the wrong place and the wrong time - and things got messy, fast.
As the story goes, the actor was down in North Carolina shooting his latest movie when he got tangled up in a heated bar brawl - alongside co-star Steve Buscemi. And while Vaughn's assault charges were soon dropped, he found himself in even more hot water come 2018 for a DUI.
Blue or red pill? Sorry, we're gonna have to go with the red. Unfortunately, back in 1993, Matrix star Keanu Reeves found himself in several legal trouble after being pulled over one fateful night in L.A. Thankfully, he eventually managed to wiggle his way out of it by coming clean.
What happened? As reports alleged, the Hollywood actor had been driving while under the influence - a serious offense in the state of California. Sure enough, after pleading guilty, the actor avoided formal charges and went on to morph into the legend we know and love today.
While his ex's (Evan Rachel Wood) recent allegations have propped his name on national headlines, Manson has actually faced several other troubles over the years. The truth is that the rocker's life off-stage is just as striking as his signature eye makeup.
Back in 1994, Manson had his first taste of legal troubles after allegedly performing sexual acts in front of his live audience. Since then, the controversial star has since been tangled in many scandals. In fact, as of recently, the artist has an active warrant out for his arrest for 2 counts of assault. Stay tuned...
Microsoft, billionaire, endless charitable initiatives: Perhaps that's what comes to mind when we think of Bill Gates. But what about everything in between? Back in 1977, on a chilly winter night, the successful mogul's reality looked very different as he was brought into Albuquerque jail.
Why? As several reports alleged, Bill was speeding in the Nevada desert in his sleek Porsche 911. As the story goes, Gates was apparently bailed out by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. But with about $125 billion (according to Forbes) and an entire empire under his belt, we'd say he's made quite the turnaround since then...
While it lasted slightly longer than 3 hours, our next celeb's brief time behind bars will forever reign in Hollywood. Of course, we're talking about the college admissions scandal that dominated 2019. "There are no excuses or justifications for my actions. Period," the Desperate Housewives star confessed. What happened?
After an explosive investigation, the actress admitted to writing a fat paycheck (about $15,000 to be exact) to help boost her daughter's SAT scores. After pleading guilty to both conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, Huffman was sentenced to 14 days in jail - before being released 3 days early.
While most of us might not be able to recall exactly where we were when midnight struck on New Year's 2019, we can tell ya where Jen Harley was. But why don't we let that picture below do all of the talking here. As for what went wrong that led to her time behind bars?
As court documents alleged, the star had gotten physical with her then-boyfriend, Jersey Shore star, Ronnie Magro, at a club in Vegas. As a result, Harley was charged with battery. While the two have since moved on, we can't help but wonder what would've happened had the scene of the crime been Karma instead.
Believe it or not, waking up in Chris Brown's body wasn't always viewed as a good thing (sorry, Lil Dicky). Back in 2009, the rapper made headlines after his fight with then-girlfriend Rihanna landed him in cuffs. Ring a bell? Unfortunately, the artist had allegedly gotten physical with the Barbados beauty.
While Brown was eventually released on probation, he was sentenced to more jail time in 2013 after violating such terms. "I look back… and I'm like, 'That's not me, bro.' I hate it to this day," Chris reflected of his darker days. "That's going to haunt me forever."
If Samantha Ronson looks like she's running on zero sleep here, well, that's because she is. At 10:30 a.m. one summer night (well, morning) back in 2011, the DJ was pulled over by police after performing a set at Vegas' infamous Lavo nightclub. Why?
It appears the star may have partied a little bit too hard. As documents revealed, Ronson had been driving under the influence - with a blood-alcohol level higher than the legal limit. Despite facing 2 misdemeanor counts, as a result, she's since put this chapter behind her. And we wish her nothing but the best moving forward.
At about 1:45 a.m., one fateful night in December 2006, officers received a tip about a car driving against traffic on the highway. Any guess who was behind the wheel of that black SUV? After failing a sobriety test, driver Nicole Richie admitted to being under the influence and was brought in by the Glendale PD.
Sure enough, fast forward to August 2007, and Richie entered Lynwood, California's jail ready to serve her 4 day DUI sentence. That is, until she was released 82 minutes later due to overcrowding. Yep, 82 whole minutes. Unfortunately, our next star's brush with the law was much more extensive.
Granted, her time in orange has been well documented over the years. But long before she made her way to Litchfield Penitentiary, the Orange is the New Black star was actually tangled up in other legal woes. "It's weird to talk about," Lyonne recalled of her darker days.
What happened? After crashing her rental car, jumping a curb, hitting a stop sign, and attempting to carry on, the actress was arrested for driving under the influence. She was slapped with 6 months of probation, 50 hours community service and now looks back at that time as a learning lesson.
Ozzy Osbourne certainly knows how to keep things interesting. But believe it or not, we're actually not talking about his time on stage. We're talking about the time the rocker landed himself behind bars after a wild night out in Memphis, Tennessee.
What happened? Back in 1984, Osbourne allegedly had a tad bit too much to drink after cops found him "staggering" around Beale Street. Sure enough, 5 hours and 1 brutal hangover later, the star was released from jail and carried on with his Barking at the Moon tour.
Next time that "fasten your seat belt sign" comes on, please: fasten that seat belt. But allow the story of how Terrence Howard landed himself behind bars to remind us exactly that. Back in 2000, as the actor hopped on a flight to Cleveland, he left that Ohio airport in cuffs. What happened?
Allegedly, the Big Momma's House actor had gotten violent with one of the flight attendants after being asked to return to his seat. As a result, he was charged with assault and jailed overnight. Eventually, though, the charges were dismissed - and he's been making us laugh on our screens ever since...
Here's something we never expected to hear: Buzz Lightyear once spent 2+ years behind bars. Yep. Long before he found his way into Andy's room, the Toy Story actor found himself in severe legal trouble after officers at an airport made a startling discovery.
What happened? Apparently, the star was busted with over one pound of illegal substances. "It put me in a position of humility... I was able to make amends to friends and family and refocus my life," Allen reflected. He's since turned his life around and proven that the sky is indeed the limit. (To infinity and beyond, am I right?)
On September 27, 2006, as Snoop headed to John Wayne Airport to catch a flight, he had no idea he'd never be making it. Only as airport security began to rummage through his luggage, that's exactly what happened. No, they weren't greeted by an assortment of special greens. Instead, they found something much more dangerous.
As reports revealed, officers found a dangerous weapon inside his bag - something the rapper claimed was a prop for his latest music video. Whatever the case may have been, the artist landed himself in the doghouse and was charged with possession of a deadly weapon.
"They discovered a large bag containing little plastic envelopes marked (in red nail polish)," Jane Fonda recalled of the moment she was escorted out of Cleveland's airport in handcuffs. But while airport security were sure they had it all figured out, they actually had no idea...
The truth? The actress-turned-activist's mysterious bag of pills were actually... vitamins. Yep. Sure enough, after being arrested on suspicion of smuggling illegal substances, Fonda's 1970 mug shot has morphed into an unforgettable moment in American history.
