Celebrities: They're just like us. Even Hollywood stars can't manage to look super fly 100% of the time. And Shawn Mendes's latest incident proves just that. The A-lister hilariously revealed what really happens behind the scenes of his steamy shirtless photo-ops. And, well, the BTS is pretty dang funny. Keep reading for all of the LOL-worthy details.
A quick scroll through Shawn Mendes's social media page reveals a lot about the singer: He uses his platform to share music with fans, has many wholesome photos of him and friends just enjoying life, loves his golden retriever - and still adores his ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello. But, perhaps most importantly to many of his fans, are the endless shirtless photos the artist has posted over the years. Shawn doesn't hold back in sharing good times, no matter how much - or how little - clothing was involved. Not that anyone's complaining... Literally, no one is complaining.
But even King of Shirtless Selfies Mendes takes a tumble sometimes: a hilarious incident happened during his hiking trip - pun intended - recently. The Treat You Better singer was hiking along Los Angeles's Runyon Canyon, as celebrities and other California residents tend to do, when he stopped for a Kodak moment. But the photo-op went far from planned. Shawn posted the final take on Instagram, and it's looking pretty good (as expected) - with the star posing shirtless while L.A. sits beautifully behind him. But it's what happened after the photo was taken that has the internet in stitches. Take a look below to see what we're talking about.

After posing for a successful shot, Mendes decided to test nature's patience for celebrity selfies. The star shifted his feet to pose for another photo when things took a turn as he slipped and fell in Runyon Canyon. But the man is A-okay, and the fall wasn't too bad - which is also why it's socially acceptable to laugh at it. Plus, Shawn himself couldn't help but poke fun at the whole ordeal. He posted the clip to Instagram with John Mayer's Gravity hilariously playing. "I guess that's what I get," he joked. Better luck next time, Shawn. (And we're sure - and delighted - that there will be a next time.) Stay tuned!
