It's happened to the best of us. One moment you're looking great in a classy outfit, and the next thing you know, your clothes begin to interfere with the simplest things you do. Salma Hayek recently found herself in such a situation, where she hilariously ended up stuck in the bathroom at the SAG Awards because of an awkward wardrobe malfunction.
Nature called just a few minutes before Salma Hayek was set to appear on stage to present the award for Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series, and so she made a (not-so-) quick trip to the bathroom. Apparently, on her way there, her glove got stuck on The Nanny star Fran Drescher's dress, and an assistant had to be called to the scene to help untangle the two actresses. Fortunately for us, cameras were rolling as the hilarious incident went down, and Hayek took to Instagram to share the funny video with her fans and tell them what happened.
In the video, Drescher looks at the camera with amusement and asks the person recording, "I can't even believe, are you videotaping this?" Standing still next to the House of Gucci star as she waits for her dress to be freed from Hayek's glove. Meanwhile, an anxious Hayek also waits to find out whether she would appear on stage alone or with Drescher stuck by her side. "Oh my god, we're stuck," she can be heard saying. "You're coming out to present with me." Like us, fans in the comments section of the Instagram video loved that Hayek had such a great sense of humor about the whole thing. "I love you hahaha I love your occurrences," one follower wrote, while another called the hilarious situation "priceless." We're not gonna lie, it definitely was.
As if the whole thing wasn't funny enough, Hayek threw in an extra joke in the caption, writing, "I got stuck in the bathroom right before I had to present the award to @michaelkeatondouglas who was also stuck in the bathroom." In the caption, she referred to Michael Keaton, who also almost missed the moment he was presented with his award because he was stuck in the bathroom! LOL. The joke didn't go unnoticed by fans, and one person commented, "Love this on so many different levels!" Honestly, so did we!
