Let's face it - Ryan Reynolds always has something to say. So you can bet he didn't hold back when it came to discussing People's Sexiest Man Alive of 2021 (pstt, Paul Rudd). Safe to say, while Mr. Rudd might be enjoying a slice of humble pie, this Deadpool funny guy would have handled things very differently had he taken home the win this year...

On Wednesday, November 10, the Hollywood actor sat down with the Today Show to talk the latest news - his upcoming endeavors, family life, and, of course, Paul Rudd's recent reign as People's Sexiest Man Alive. Exciting stuff, huh? While Reynolds was just as excited as we were, he did have a few concerns about the latest winner.

"I think that this opportunity will be wasted on him like so many before him," the Deadpool actor joked. In other words? According to Mr. Reynolds, Rudd won't be milking the title for all its worth - something he'd proudly do. "He's going to play it shy. He's going to play bashful, humble. If I know what I knew now, I wouldn't do that. You got to seize this opportunity," he hilariously shaded.

But this actually isn't the first time Ryan Reynolds had something to say about People's Sexiest Man Alive. In case you forgot, the Deadpool charmer actually earned the coveted title back in 2010, something that still haunts him to this very day, apparently. "Oh, if I got it now, I'm not saying I would leave my family, but they would need to go on without me," the actor hilariously quipped. Hear that, Blake?

"I would roam the world clutching my dog eared People magazine, going from town to town, like some... sowing my wild oats like some sort of nude magical gardener," Reynolds confessed. If only he knew then what he knows now... Hopefully, Rudd will learn from his mistakes. "Don’t blow this, Rudd - if you’re there, do not blow this opportunity. Run like the wind." Well, you heard it hear first. Don't walk - run - to check out People's latest cover. And be sure to stay tuned for the latest updates.
