Lupita Nyong’o Leaves Users Divided With Questionable Snack

Black Panther star Lupita Nyong'o has left an everlasting lasting impression in Wakanda - and maybe even more of an impression on social media after a viral video she uploaded recently really got the crowd talking! The leading actress took to Instagram to share a short clip of her enjoying a nice little snack - but we weren't necessarily picking up what she was putting down!
The actress is most famously known for her prestigious role in 12 Years A Slave, where she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2014 and soon after an NAACP Image Award for the same role. In addition to the drama film, Nyong'o is known for her highly-coveted roles in Us, Black Panther, and the upcoming sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The actress is praised for her skillful acting, fashion-forward style choices, and overall glowing personality - so basically, she can do it all.
However, fans were questioning her snack of choice when she uploaded a hilarious video of her celebrating the famous Copenhagen restaurant Noma at a dinner party in Los Angeles. The actress shared to Instagram a video of herself holding a piece of fruit covered in ants before she proceeded to take a big bite! The bizarre combo is apparently "really good!" and "not crunchy at all" according to Nyong'o. When asked if the ants were smoked, we heard a woman in the background claim that the ants were, in fact, "meant to add a citrus factor" to the dish - in case you were curious to try it out.
Clearly, she couldn't get away with eating ants on the Internet and not having the entire world chirp in! The Instagram comments rolled in and praised the queen for trying out such a delicacy "on purpose" while also still questioning the strange bite! One Instagram user teased, "No baby. I love you. But no," while another agreed and wrote, "idk sis. look like it dropped under the fridge." Lol. The most note-worthy comment, however comes from the actress' Black Panter co-star, Winston Duke, who made a few punny ant jokes. "What is u doin baybeh… what you eating ants fohhh?!! This is ant-agonizing me… I'm feeling antsy… what would yo aunt say… my antena is going crazyyy," he hilariously wrote. And on that note, stay tuned for more light-hearted fun!
