Born in Los Angeles to parents Lionel Richie and Diane Alexander, Richie grew up in the spotlight. She is the youngest sister to Miles and Nicole Richie, which makes her brother-in-law, Good Charlotte, front-man Joel Madden. Oh, and let's not forget her godfather was Michael Jackson.

How's that for a star-studded family? Lionel Richie and her mother, Diane Alexander, got divorced when she was just five years old. Nicole and Sofia may have a 17-year age gap, but the sisters are reported as being really close and have been instrumental parts of each other's lives.

Modeling Career

However, a source told Us that "there's no beef" between Sofia and the Kardashian-Jenner clan, and they eventually supported the relationship. However, by 2020, the couple had broken up. "Friends attributed their 15-year age difference becoming an issue," an insider claimed.

The magazine followed Richie for her final fitting as she tried on three perfect dresses for the occasion. To start, a high-necked, long-sleeved beaded floor-length dress for the rehearsal dinner, followed by a magnificent and elegant lace halter wedding dress. And to end, a structured mini dress with a flower embellished on the front.

"This is like a fairy tale," she said. "It really is. It's like an art piece. I feel like a princess, I really do!" As far as what she thinks Elliot will think of her wedding dress? The model worked with Chanel creative director Virginie Viard to make her dream looks come to life. She told the outlet that she always had this dream to have a "big princess dress," but getting older, she realized she actually wanted "something a bit more simple."

But then again, "Simple isn't the right word because my dress definitely is not simple," she said. The bride included an inscription of 'S&E' on the inside for her 'something blue' element and two heart embellishments to represent her love for Elliot.

A standout number from the weekend was the long sleeve sheer "something blue" dress with matching Manolo Blahnik kitten heels. But of course, there needs to be some Chanel. On April 22, Elliot Grainge and Sofia Richie officially tied the knot! The glamourous event took place in the very exclusive Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, where the couple rented out the hotel for their guests. We can only imagine getting that invite!
