Hey, we've all been there. But that doesn't make it any less hilarious: Lizzo just opened up about that time she had a little too much to drink... and slid into her crush's DMs. And let's just say, perhaps a pounding headache wasn't the only thing she was left worrying about the morning after...

For starters, it appears it really does go down in the DMs. But don't take our word for it. On Sunday, April 18, the Truth Hurts singer took to TikTok to share the time her liquid courage left her racing to Instagram. And we've got a feeling she'll never live this one down.

“Don’t drink and DM, kids….,” the 32-year-old singer joked after sliding into Chris Evans’ DMs while tipsy one night. The contents of her message? Three emojis: the wind-blowing emoji, a woman playing basketball, and a basketball. Are you picking up what she was putting out there? Yep, she was shooting her shot at the Marvel star.

And, well, let's just say things didn't quite go as planned. "The reason I'm upset about this one is because I know I'm not gonna be able to marry him," she joked about her unreciprocated flirty exchange. "Damn papa, he a rare breed, no comparing. Like, Chris..." Can't argue with that one...

As for what Chris had to say for himself? Perhaps he was just as amused as we are. "No shame in a drunk DM," he assured his not-so-secret-admirer. "God knows I've done worse on this app lol." Consider us intrigued.

But while Lizzo might be second-guessing her latest Instagram adventures, this isn't the first time she's called out the Hollywood actor online. In fact, back in 2019, she had a whole lot to say after Evans left a witty comment on her latest post. "Wow marry me," the smitten artist had joked.

Might wedding bells be in their near future? While it doesn't exactly appear that way, we're sure Lizzo's doing just fine. In fact, she might just be good as h*ll.

Stay tuned, guys. And please, don't drink and DM.
