Kelly Ripa Hilariously Trolls Son During His Guest Appearance on LIVE

When your mom's a famed talk-show host and dad, an on-screen villain, things are bound to get entertaining. Just ask Michael Consuelos, who recently sat down to talk about his famous family. From hilarious secrets to his future endeavors, here's what Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos's mini-me had to say for himself…
"Here's the problem. Michael, as the first child, we were very spoiled by him – hard worker, diligent, nice person," Kelly began to proudly explain of her eldest. As for Michael's little brother, Joaquin? "You know… I call Michael 'the heir' and Joaquin 'the spare,'" Ripa joked. Ouch. We'd love to know how her 'spare' feels about that one.

But don't worry – Michael didn't get off that easy either. As the episode continued, Kelly decided to switch our attention to her heir's recent transformation. And by transformation, we mean much-needed haircut – or at least that's how she saw it: "I was going for like a Brooklyn hipster thing, and Mom was like, 'You look like a caveman. Stop,'" Consuelos joked of his latest haircut.
But while Michael might not be too thrilled about chopping off his long locks, we're sure Hermione Lodge feels otherwise. In case you forgot, the young actor has recently been playing a younger version of his dad's Riverdale character, Hiram Lodge, on our Netflix screens. And given his new 'cut? It's almost as if we're seeing double. I mean, just look at the two of them (below)...
"Everyone keeps telling me that," Michael confessed of him and his dad's similarities. "And I think the difference is that my dad is my voice, but with confidence." Whatever the case may be, we do know one thing: from his recent role in Riverdale to his time in the LIVE hot seat, Michael Consuelos is officially on his way to following in mom and dad's footsteps. And we can't wait to see what comes next.
