| LAST UPDATE 09/26/2021
There's no playing it hot and cold when it comes to Katy Perry and her celeb bestie. The Roar singer and Lady Gaga recently stepped out together for another red-carpet gala. And it wasn't long before their adorable outing went viral online. Here's why...
On Saturday, September 25, the two stars hit the red - well, green - carpet together for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala. Dressed up in little black dresses and the ultimate Hollywood glam, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry certainly got people talking. But their iconic looks weren't the only reason they quickly stole the show.

From sharing a quick laugh to posing for the camera, the besties were the epitome of friendship goals as they made their way through the Los Angeles venue. But we're not the only ones who felt that way. Of course, we're talking about the online world, who wasted no time turning the star-studded outing into a meme-worthy night to remember.

"Get yourself someone who looks at you the way Katy Perry looks at Lady Gaga," one user joked. Which, well, agreed. Then again, who wouldn't react that way when standing in the presence of a queen? From her endless Grammy wins to her starring role in the upcoming film, House of Gucci, the entire world is going gaga for Gaga. And that won't be changing anytime soon...

In case you forgot, though, this isn't the first time the Rain on Me artist found her way onto our Twitter feeds. This past summer, a hilarious thread of Lady Gaga lookalikes took the online world by storm. And while most of us could only dream of meeting the Hollywood royal (well, or at least thinking that we did), we'll have no problem living vicariously though Miss Perry.
Until next time, stay tuned.
