"I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter," Kanye West shared on Twitter on Sunday, July 25.
Our favorite hiphop star is seeking forgiveness from his wife of 6 years, and we can only hope that she can find it in her heart to forgive him. On Saturday, the 43-year-old rapper took to Twitter to formally apologize to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.
After his recent remarks at the presidential rally, and a few now-deleted tweets, Kanye posted, "I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter." The Yeezy designer continued, "I did not cover her like she has covered me."
"To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me," he closed.
Kim has yet to speak out on how she feels or what her next move will be. After all, Kanye's apology only came 5 days after he posted a few cryptic messages about the entire Kardashian family, including momager Kris Jenner.
On the 22nd of July, Kim broke her silence and asked her millions of fans to be a bit more sensitive regarding Kanye's mental state. She began by saying that although he is a brilliant person, he does struggle with mental issues.
She continued, "We as a society talk about giving grace to the issue of mental health as a whole, however we should also give it to the individuals who are living with it in times when they need it the most," Kim concluded. "I kindly ask that the media and public give us the compassion and empathy that is needed so that we can get through this. Thank you for those who have expressed concern for Kanye's well-being and for your understanding."
We're rooting for you Kimye!
