There's nothing we don't love about Kacey Musgraves. Her epic style, her unreal voice, and her commitment to being true to herself - now that's a true star for ya! The Follow Your Arrow singer turned heads during her performance at this year's Austin City Limits Music Festival when she paused her nail-biting performance for a bit of self-care before she continued. So what exactly went down?

Well, Spacey Kacey, as some may know her, is a Texas-born country star legend. With 6 Grammys, 7 Country Music Association Awards, 3 Academy of Country Music Awards, and a slew of other accolades under her bedazzled belt, Kacey is and always has been one of the world's most loved country stars. Musgraves recently headlined the 3-day, 2-weekend music festival Austin City Limits, and while she was strumming her guitar, she faced a little dilemma: her nails were too long to play to the guitar!

So what did she do? Well, she paused her set and got ahold of nail clippers to trim her nails in front of the thousands of people in the crowd. Per TikTok, we could see Musgraves say, "You try to be a cute girl off the stage, and you're like, 'I want my nails done,'" and "And then when you try to play guitar, you sound like absolute s***." Although there is no way she could sound anything less than perfect, we can totally relate to not being able to do much with extra-long nails!

So, as she began trimming her nails, Kacey teased, "If you don't mind me," and the ACL crowd was loving it honesty. "It's this nail. It's too long for this song," Kacey said. "Oh, and maybe this nail too. I don't want to f*** this one up for you guys," she told the crowd. Kacey admitted her nails were looking "rough right now." Stars, they're just like us - right? Lucky for us, one viewer caught the moment on TikTok, and we can see her interacting with the crowd as she snips away. If you listen closely enough, you can even hear a fan yell, "I want the clipping." LOL.
