If you're like us, you probably had a crush on Uncle Jesse from ABC's Full House. Apparently, we weren't the only ones - he's been in the heart of one particular fan for a long time, and she recently managed to get the actor's attention.
TikTok star Jax, famous on the platform for singing and writing songs, managed to get Stamos' attention when she performed a song for his co-star, the late Bob Saget. In the viral video, Jax sang an altered version of the 80's theme song, whose lyrics were changed to honor Saget. "RIP Bob Saget. Thank You For Being Everyone's Dad," she wrote in the caption of the video. Fast forward two months later, the social media star has teamed up with Uncle J to put together a video surprise for her mother, who's had a crush on the actor since the Full House days.
@jaxwritessongs Surprising my mom with her celebrity crush 😂❤️🔥 @johnstamos #fyp #JessiesGirl #FullHouse ♬ Mom Meets John Stamos - Jax
In the clip, the mother and daughter sit in front of a keyboard, facing the camera, saying, "Hi, John Stamos! Notice our video!" Jax then begins to play the tune of Rick Springfield's Jessie's Girl on the keyboard, but sings the funny lyrics she wrote for the song instead. "Everybody meet my mom. She's been married to my dad since '93, but she did always warn him, the man of her dreams was John Stamos. So we made a video, we hope he sees." Moving closer to the camera, Jax's mother then hilariously sings, "I promise I love your dad!" to which her daughter replies, "Ok, but you'd leave him in a heartbeat for John Stamos, just admit it." LOL. Jax's mother then confesses, "Ok, fine but don't tell him that!"
And that was the moment when John Stamos entered the scene, with his guitar and leather jacket, leaving Jax's mom stunned. "Don't tell him what?" the actor responded before continuing to play the song with Jax. "Hey Uncle Jesse, my mom's your biggest fan!" the TikTok singer exclaimed. At the end of the video, Stamos turns to Jax's mom, saying, "You're beautiful! You married?" and the mom's hilarious response was simply, "No!" LOL. To be fair, we probably would have given the same answer. The actor later uploaded the video to Instagram, where he thanked Jax for her "touching lyrics" about co-star Bob Saget. "This was so much fun, and her mother is adorable." Awwww. We just hope Jax's dad didn't mind!
