John Legend and Jimmy Fallon Perform 'It's March Again' on 'The Tonight Show'
| LAST UPDATE 10/17/2021
If you're having trouble accepting the fact that it's already March, meaning we've been living in a pandemic for nearly a year, you're not the only one! Jimmy Fallon and John Legend are also having a hard time accepting this, as they told us through a song on this week's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Fallon and Legend performed a song to the tune of Belle, from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Their original lyrics outlined some bits and pieces of the last year and how life in quarantine has really been like for these two. The sketch began with Fallon waking up in his house, "bored indoors," as he put it, followed by an explanation of what he's been up to.

From watching countless hours of Netflix to purchasing exercise equipment that never got used, "There must be more than this pandemic life," Jimmy sang. "Every single day on Zoom / when it's over / time to move / to this next part of my couch." And then, John joined in, with some more insight on this crazy year, through his angelic voice. "Oh, isn't this amazing?" Legend sang.
"Wasn't it just March 2020? / I've forgotten what time means / And I haven't waxed my chest since quarantine week three," he continued. Fallon and Legend concluded the original song by saying, "I can't believe it's really March again." The new rendition of this song might sound familiar, as Fallon taught his daughters a similar one, titled Wash Your Hands, about a year ago. After that, he mesmerized his fans with Starting to Crack about a month later.
Evidently, even some of our favorite stars have gone a little crazy during quarantine, but Fallon hasn't let this stop him from entertaining viewers worldwide. Last month, he interviewed Cardi B, and the two got into a hilarious discussion, where they talked about Cardi not having a driver's license and then did the infamous "mimic challenge." Even during a pandemic, we can still count on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for some laughs on a Monday night.
