After watching A Quiet Place Part II, comedic icon Amy Schumer took to the Gram with a very important announcement: go see the film, but also let it be known that stars John Krasinski and Emily Blunt's real-life marriage is all one big publicity stunt. Now, Krasinski gave his two cents on the matter. Here are all of the details.

In case you missed it, Schumer took to Instagram on Sunday, May 30, with quite the controversial statement. The comedian uploaded a shot from the new motion picture A Quiet Place Part II and told fans not to miss out on the horror film. The project was written, directed, and produced by none other than The Office's John Krasinski. The actor also starred in the film along with his wife, Emily Blunt. And it's the couple's personal-work relationship that got Amy talking...

"I loved every second of @aquietplacemovie even better than the first one which blew me away. Amazing to be in a movie theater!!" the 40-year-old funny gal wrote. And then things got a little more entertaining. Schumer continued, "I've said it for a long time I think Emily and John have a pretend marriage for publicity. But I still think you should see it this rainy weekend."

And if you've been biting your nails, waiting for Krasinski to reply to the allegations, fear not - the Hollywood icon finally did. "Thank you Amy!... for blowing up our whole marriage spot," he hilariously replied. Before anyone gets too excited at the prospect of Jim and Pam getting together in real life, we must clarify that John is definitely joking. The actor and Emily Blunt have been together for well over a decade and share two daughters. If that's all for publicity, then these two deserve an award for the most dedicated promo stunt ever!

John and Emily can find comfort in knowing they weren't the only victims of Amy's teasing. That same day, the Trainwreck starlet promoted another recently-released film while once more poking fun at the protagonist. "It's well known Emma stone is a toxic person but @disneycruella is amazing!!" Schumer wrote on her Insta Story. Don't worry; the two women are good friends, so there's no real beef here.
