Back in 2003, Jennifer Aniston was the first guest to appear on The Ellen Show. Now, almost 20 years later, she was brought back on the talk show for the final episode. Of course, Ellen and the actress reminded and discussed the good ole' days - so understandably, some good and bad memories resurfaced for Aniston. They talked about the ending of her hit sitcom Friends, which went off the air in 2004... and the 53-year-old star didn't hold back from poking fun at herself and the difficult times she had back then. Here's what she said.
Not long after Friends was over, Aniston sadly divorced her husband, Brad Pitt. Their fans were devasted as they had probably been one of the hottest and most adored Hollywood IT couples. But sadly, by 2005, they had officially called it quits. So when Ellen asked Aniston how she dealt with Friend's ending, obviously, she had to mention the other ending that happened in her life at the time.
She hilariously responded with, "Well, I got a divorce and went into therapy. Then I did a movie called The Break-Up," Aniston went on. "I just leaned into the end. I was just like, 'You know what, guys? Let's make this a completely new chapter.' Let's just end everything! And start new," she teased. "It worked great!"

Although Aniston doesn't often discuss her very public divorce, it seems that by now, she's over all that drama. In fact, it seems everyone involved is because not long ago, Pitt also made a joke about his love life. While accepting his award for the film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards, the actor said, "[I played] a guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch." LOL. Even Aniston, who was in the audience, laughed out loud at that one! And honestly, can we really blame her? The whole incident even had fans speculating that the two might rekindle their romance, but sadly, they have yet to do that. Stay tuned for updates.
