Our favorite celebs are usually so picture-perfect, it's easy to forget that they are human-beings just like us. From twisted ankles to tripping on the red carpet, here's a list of stars who bounced back from hilarious wipeouts.

Jennifer Lawrence

There's no denying that Jennifer Lawrence has many talents and can adapt to many roles. From The Hunger Games to Passengers, JLaw has done it all. So, it might not have come as a surprise when she won an Oscar in 2013.

Unfortunately, as Lawrence was walking toward the stage to accept her Best Actress Award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, she tripped. Jennifer's foot got caught on her dress, causing her to fall up the flight of stairs. With a hand over her face in embarrassment, she took it like a boss shortly after and accepted her award. 

Hayden Panettiere

Actress Hayden Panettiere slipped in her Dennis Basso Spring 2014 collection gown while walking down the red velvet carpet on the Met Gala stairs in 2014. She was trying to lift her giant ballgown's skirt so her heeled feet could touch the floor unobstructed.

But, things didn't exactly go as planned when Panettiere lost her footing and missed a step or two on the giant flight of stairs. Her expression in this photo says it all; she was shocked! But, Hayden quickly got her balance back and elegantly descended on the rest of the stairs.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is widely known for her extravagant outfits in concert and her day-to-day life. From out-of-this-world high heels to lace masks, many fans believe Gaga can rock it all. But, when it came to her Enigma tour at Park MGM in Las Vegas, she took a tumble on stage.

Lady Gaga sang so hard at that 2019 concert that, coupled with her fast-paced dance moves, the slip of a foot left her sitting on the stage. But, as the professional performer she is, Mother Monster was back on her feet dancing around again in no time.

Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera took over the stage at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards alongside several widely-known artists. She performed with Yolanda Adams, Martina McBride, Jennifer Hudson, and Florence Welch in a gorgeous tribute to the late Aretha Franklin in 2011.

Unfortunately, Aguilera slipped and nearly fell during her performance at the Staples Center. But with the help of the closeby microphone stand and other ladies on stage, she quickly regained her footing. Before much of the audience could realize it, the performance continued.

Emma Thompson

Emma Thompson is widely recognized for her role in Sense and Sensibility or Love Actually. Well, when the time came for the actress to receive one of her many awards, leaving her prints and signature in the element outside of the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, a slight mishap occurred.

Thompson signed her name and went to stand up. But, she stumbled over the elevated box that she was standing on and landed on her side. Luckily, by 2013, the actress had learned to laugh at her mistakes and stood up while smiling and chuckling playfully.

Kristin Chenoweth

After sharing a smooch on stage with fellow actor Sean Hayes, Kristin Chenoweth took an unfortunate tumble at Radio City Music Hall in 2010. Dressed to the nines in a crisp white minidress in front of a large audience, Chenoweth ended up on the stage floor at the 64th Annual Tony Awards.

In the aftermath of the fall, the audience was torn on what to believe had happened. Some thought it was a staged event, while others thought she passed out from the stage lights. But, in the end, Hayes helped Kirstin and her blushed cheeks up, and the show went on.

Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer is a widely known comedian and actress who has been known to evoke a laugh at just the right time and the wrong times. In 2015, she pulled a prank on Kanye West and Kim Kardashian that had nearly everyone laughing. Well, basically all but Kanye, that is.

Schumer purposefully wiped out in a pretend-fall on the red carpet right at the feet of Kardashian and West. The celebrities were at a gala celebrating Time Magazine's 100th issue of the Most Influential People in the World when Amy decided the evening needed a laugh-lift.

Helen Mirren

The accomplished Helen Mirren has held many roles, from the action-packed Red series to sophisticated roles portraying three different Queens in various movies and TV shows. That's why she was in attendance at the Berlin Film Festival premiere of her film, The Woman in Gold, in 2015.

Mirren was heading up the red carpet into the event when she tripped on her green Dolce & Gabbana gown and fell to her knees. Thankfully, Helen's quick reflexes helped her catch herself before her upper body went careening towards the steps. With grace, Mirren stood back up and went on to accept her award.

Jennifer Lopez

JLo took a quick spill with an even faster recovery at the American Music Awards in 2009. Mid performance, Lopez climbed up the backs of several of her backup dancers, then jumped off, intending to land back on stage. The trick was practiced many times before the concert, but things didn't go as planned at showtime.

Unfortunately, instead of landing on her feet, Lopez's bum ended up breaking her fall. With a quick recovery move, Jennifer was back on her feet, singing and dancing again in no time. By the end of her performance, many had forgotten the accident even happened.

Michael Cera

In 2013, actor Michael Cera was having a bit of fun at the Sundance Film Festival with his Magic, Magic co-star, Catalina Sandino. While playfully dancing together, Sandino dipped Cera but lost her grip. Michael then fell backward to the ground with his hand catching the brunt of his landing.

Cera was unquestionably shocked by the abrupt end to his spontaneous fooling around from the looks of the photo. But, the Juno actor has nearly always been able to bounce back from silly happenings. So, he got back on his feet and carried on with his night.

Naomi Watts

Naomi Watts was heading toward the microphone at the 2015 SAG Awards when she tripped on Emma Stone's dress. Watts somehow remained composed as she reached for the microphone stand for balance. With her co-stars nervously looking to her for a sign of what to do next, the moment passed.

Naomi gracefully collected herself and went on to accept the award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for the film Birdman. From the looks of it, we can guess that the co-stars-turned-friends had a good chuckle about the slip later on.

Justin Bieber

In 2010 a young Justin Bieber performed several planned fighting stunts with his backup dancers on stages across the United States. Even with all of his team's practicing with choreographers, things quickly turned South when a move was executed incorrectly.

Unfortunately, during one show, some of the choreography of his performance caused Bieber to land wrong and twist his ankle badly. Although he had no major injuries, many in attendance revealed that he limped offstage without finishing the show that night.

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba was the Choice Female Hottie winner at the Teen Choice Awards in 2006. And, apparently, she wasn't the only one falling head over heels for herself! While photographers watched her take to the carpet, she tripped over her shoes and ended up on all fours.

Despite her embarrassing fall, she was able to act gracefully with a smile and somehow managed to keep her captivating charm intact while getting back on her feet. With the flip of her hair, the show moved on, and many pictures besides this one were snapped.

Sarah Hyland

Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland, was making her way across the shining USC Galen Center stage in 2015 when she tripped. Hyland was walking to the central part of the stage to present a Teen Choice Award when her foot got caught on an ample stage light, causing her to nearly wipe out head first.

Thankfully, even though she was wearing stilettos, Sarah managed to keep herself composed. She saved herself from what could have been an unfortunate accident and went on to laugh off the incident as she took the microphone and announced the winner named on her card.

Katy Perry

The eccentrically colorful Katy Perry fell face-first into a massive pink-frosted cake during her 2008 performance at the MTV Latin America Awards. But, instead of getting upset over the incident, she proceeded to roll around in the icing more. She finished her performance covered head to toe.

But, how did this happen? Well, as remembered by those in attendance at the concert, Perry simply lost her balance, slipped, and slid into the icing. The cake was on stage as a large prop, but no one planned for it to become part of the singer's wardrobe!

Niall Horan

Niall Horan of the former band, One Direction, acted as an attentive caddie for golfer Rory McIlroy at the 2015 Masters Tournament. The event was held at the Augusta National Golf Club. While Niall was doing a great job as a golfing-wingman, he had a slight slip-up.

Unfortunately, Horan's years dancing around the stage didn't help him out much that day. The singer-turned-caddie lost his footing on some pine straw while walking between holes with McIlroy. He subsequently slipped down a spike-filled hill with the caddie bag in hand.

Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria stumbled over her golden heels outside 2007's ABC Network UpFront event at Lincoln Center in New York City. She dropped down to pick up the contents of her purse and was helped by those around her. Nonetheless, when she stood up, Eva remained her smooth self with a smile on her face and a pep in her step.

Diving for the ball at the DirecTV Beach Bowl in 2014, Michael B. Jordan hit the sand with his shoulder breaking the fall. Luckily, his shoulder and head-in-the-game attitude were left intact. He quickly recovered and was able to continue playing the game with no issues.

Heidi Klum co-hosted the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards alongside Tom Bergeron in 20098. When they attempted to act out their co-host skit, a bit of a mistake took place, and Heidi, unfortunately, ended up on the stage's floor in front of the entire audience.

At the 2016 BRIT Awards, Madonna, the world-renowned singer, had a cape malfunction and was dragged backward off stage. She was climbing up the stairs of a platform during her performance, but when her cape got caught, she was pulled back like a slingshot.

Mid-performance at KIIS FM's 2015 Summer Pool Party, Disney star turned musician Demi Lovato took a spill on a small stage platform surrounded by water. She was jumping and dancing around as she typically did during performances when she lost her footing.

Rapper Method Man tripped on stage and soon found himself crowd surfing during his 2008 performance at the Rock The Bells Music and Arts Festival in California. His loyal fans in the front rows managed to catch him but couldn't carry him very far due to so many people in such a jam-packed area.

Supermodel Candice Swanepoel tripped over her gown and stiletto heels, stumbled, and fell on the catwalk during the Givenchy Spring 2016 fashion show. This has happened to many models on occasion, but some would argue that not many have handled it as well as she did.
