If we're being honest, we've had a pretty interesting first taste of award show moments this year (ahem, Will Smith) - but this year's Grammy's was filled with some pretty comedic moments that left us laughing. And perhaps no one got us chuckling more than Doja Cat.
The pop singer had a seriously viral moment during her acceptance speech for the award of the Best Pop Duo Performance category. She and her Kiss Me More collaborator, SZA were clearly excited to nab the prize for their chart-topping track, but the excitement quickly turned to laughter as we saw these two in their comedic element on stage. So here's what happened... Having beaten out the competition, including names like Coldplay, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga, SZA and Doja Cat's names were called out by the award presenter, Avril Lavigne. The camera quickly panned to SZA, who was seen hobbling up to the stage with crutches (and heels!) to claim her prize. "Eff my weak *ss bony ankles," she later joked on her Instagram post. But, where was her partner?
"Bro, you go to the bathroom for five minutes!" SZA chirped at Doja while she waited for her to join her on stage. Doja was seen out of breath as she raced up to make her acceptance speech, which definitely could win an award of its own for pure comedic content. "I have never taken such a fast piss in my whole life!" she panted into the mic. As she would later confess to Entertainment Tonight, Doja was yanked out of the bathroom by someone and told to race back to the auditorium to collect her award. Nerves, plus a few glasses of champagne, had Doja in serious need of a bathroom break, and the whole ordeal has made her an internet sensation following the hilarious speech!
