Step aside, Ross: Courteney Cox, or should we say, Monica Geller, officially has a new dancing partner. And from the looks of it? He might actually make it onto Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve main stage.

On Sunday, May 30, Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran took to the 'gram to recreate an iconic Friends scene. Any guess which one we're referring to? Of course, we're talking about the famous New Year's dance routine, which saw the Geller siblings pull out all of the stops to amaze their live audience (well, attempt to).

"#ObviouslybetterthanRoss," the Shape of You artist joked of the nostalgic routine. Ouch. Though one quick glance at that video below, and, well, he might be on to something, after all. We'll let you be the judge of that one...

But the timing of their little exchange was anything but random. In case you forgot, the highly-anticipated Friends reunion finally blessed our screens on May 27. And if you haven't yet caught the special episode? Let's just say it appears Ed Sheeran wasn't the only famous face who once kept up with Central Perk's finest.

From Reese Witherspoon (or should we say Jill Green?) to Lady Gaga and everyone in between, the star-studded event was certainly a night to remember. Though we may want to forget Mr. Heckles’ memorable debut, which saw him as grumpy as ever.

Contrarily, though, Paul Rudd (a.k.a. Princess Consuela Banana-Hammock's love interest), among others, was noticeably missing from the big day. Why? There were simply far too many famous faces to feature in the 1 hour 45 minute HBO Max special. (Including you, Ugly Naked Guy.)

All jokes aside, we can't help but admire how much love our six friends still have for each other - and their fans, clearly - after all of these years. And while it may have been over 10 years since we said goodbye to our favorite 20-somethings, they'll always have a place in our hearts.

Stay tuned.
