Celebrity Parents and Their Children at the Same Age
| LAST UPDATE 01/30/2023
Sometimes kids look like a mirror image of their parents, and other times, they couldn't be more different. Well, the families in Hollywood are no exception. Take a look at these famous faces next to their children at the same age.
Jude & Rafferty Law: Age 24
Many Law fans believe this family was blessed with magical bright eyes and bold features! Jude and Rafferty Law are not only similar in their 24-year-old appearances, but in the careers they've built for themselves as well.
In an interview with British GQ, Rafferty gushed with pride about the man he has become thanks to his role model Dad. Commenting on their look-alike features, the currently 24-year-old noted, "There's that comparison all the time, and I find it quite funny because obviously, we're going to look quite similar – he's my dad."
Susan Sarandon & Eva Amurri: Age 35
These brown-eyed beauties share more than facial features. Thanks to Sarandon's example on the big screen and in the living room, Eva picked up a few tips on motherhood along the way. Amurri told Today, "My mom stands up for herself and others, and I think that has always been a really important message in our family."
Susan's approach to motherhood slowly rubbed off on Eva now that she had a daughter of her own. Just before having her third child, Amurri made the difficult decision to divorce her ex-husband. Grandma Sarandon was immediately ready to step in and help, bringing the moms arguably closer than ever before.
Will & Jaden Smith: Age 22
Physical feature similarities aside, at the young age of 22, both Will and Jaden Smith quickly entered the spotlight. When Smith senior was 22-years-old, he was cracking jokes on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Now, a couple of decades later, Jaden is following in his Dad's footsteps, but to the beat of his own drum.
From personalized hairstyles to self-expression of many kinds, these Smith men have made it clear that their relationship runs deep. In fact, when Jaden took over the Coachella stage in 2019, Will joined him for his song "Icon." He took the microphone and proudly announced to the cheering crowd, "I love this man right here."
Lisa Bonet & Zoe Kravitz: Age 32
We don't know about you, but we almost didn't realize these were two different people! At the age of 32, both Lisa Bonet and her daughter, Zoe Kravitz, turned heads left and right. From sharing bold cheekbones to tiny matching freckles on their chins, this mom and daughter duo looks like they could've been twins in another life!
Or, maybe they could have played each other's stunt doubles! Some time ago, Zoe took to Instagram to post a throwback picture of herself and her parents from '89. And, fashion designer and close friend of the family, Alex Wang, took notice right away and commented, "O M G you literally are a carbon copy of your mom!"
Nicolas Cage & Weston Coppola Cage: Age 30
There's no mistaking these ocean eyes! Nicolas and his eldest, Weston Coppola Cage, certainly lucked out when it came to this striking facial feature. In an interview with DailyMailTV, Weston explained that he spent much of his childhood growing up on the sets of his dad's movies. Possibly what inspired his spotlight debut!
The Cage's have accompanied each other to red carpet events and, after appearing in Lord of War together, talk of taking over the screen again. "I would really love to be on a TV series with my father. It would be such a beautiful moment for us to have together," said Weston. And, with this dynamic duo, we're sure it would be!
Cindy Crawford & Kaia Jordan Gerber: Age 19
This mother-daughter duo has truly outdone themselves when it comes to strutting their stuff on the runway. Cindy Crawford and daughter, Kaia Jordan Gerber, both managed to make it to the modeling world. There, the business quickly learned that these brunette beauties would become staples in the industry.
Crawford may have paved the way for Kaia, but with the genes of those strong brows, even at 19-years-old, it seems she can do it for herself! When Cindy was her daughter's age, she was on her way to becoming one of the most famous supermodels in the industry, and from the looks of it (and her), now Kaia is too!
Anthony & Elvis Perkins: Age 42
When actor Anthony Perkins was his son's age, he gained attention on the big screen in Murder on the Orient Express. Now, Elvis is on the rise as well, but for singing and song-writing. In an interview with The Guardian, Perkins said that he doesn't think he looks much like either of his parents, but a combination of them.
After losing both of his parents at an early age, he began songwriting as an act of self-expression. Per The Guardian, he spent his early 20s unsure how to approach music but eventually gained footing via open mic nights. Perkins then channeled his late father's energy and made a name and place in the industry for himself.
Grace Kelly & Princess Stephanie of Monaco: Age 20
At the age of 20, actress Grace Kelly was beginning her fame-bound career. Flash forward to years later when Grace met and married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco. They had a daughter, Princess Stephanie, who, by 20-years-old, began to grow into the facial features that her fame-and-Royal-filled gene pool supplied her with.
Fans believe she got her beautiful blue eyes from Grace. Strong cheekbones and even a slight widow's peak too! But, before Stephanie reached 20-years-old, as seen in the photo above, she lost her mother in a tragic car accident at 17. With mom's memory as her inspiration, Stephanie later entered the fashion and music worlds.
Marlon & Christian Brando: Age 31
Some believe that when Marlon Brando was his son Christian's age, the two men looked remarkably similar in a suit and tie. With strong gazes and bushy brows, the resemblance is there, but is it because of the tie? As similar as some of the features may be, these two lived very different lives inside and outside of Hollywood.
This handsome duo experienced some rocky waters and large growing pains throughout the years. An array of drama consumed the Brando family before Marlon passed away in 2004, leaving winnings of 2 Academy Awards in his wake. Four short years later, Christian also passed away at the age of 49.
Meryl Streep & Grace Gummer: Age 28
There's no denying that the talented Meryl Streep has given the world some award-winning work throughout her time in Hollywood. But, a less talked about accomplishment of hers was becoming a Mom of 4! And two of her kids, Grace and Mamie, even followed her footsteps into Hollywood to boot!
According to the sisters, they often get mistaken for one another. But, they don't seem to mind too much! Is it just us, or do we see double with some of these facial features? From the eyes to nose shape, even the smile lines, we can imagine Grace and Meryl would have gotten mistaken as the same person back in the day too!
Denzel & John Washington: Age 36
Denzel and John Washington have such a close relationship that a win for one of them is a win for both of them. In fact, when Washington Sr. was named the greatest actor of the 21st century by The New York Times, John, an actor himself, was so excited that he told Access Hollywood that it was about time his dad won!
"I think he is one of the greatest to ever do it, so it was a very proud moment for our entire family," John exclaimed. And in response to praise from his mini-me? Denzel was taken aback by the outpour of love from his son. "Wow, I'm speechless," he said. Their family has made it clear; the Washington bond is something special.
Courtney Love & Frances Bean Cobain: Age 27
When Courtney Love was her daughter's age, she was a free-spirited rockstar wife. Frances Bean Cobain has since grown up to the beat of her own drum, despite both of her parents' regular jam sessions. For years, she has channeled the flowing spirit of her mom, but these two didn't always get along.
In 2019, Frances joined RuPaul's podcast, "What's The Tee," to talk about life with Courtney Love as a mom. All turbulence aside, Cobain assured RuPaul that she hopes their relationship can grow. "To be based on open communication and love and truth." And with that mindset and a matching red lip, they're set up for success!
Michael J. & Sam Fox: Age 31
Michael J. Fox was so thrilled to be a first-time dad that he and his wife Tracy told People, "We did the whole womb music deal, where we put the headphones on Tracy's stomach and played everything from Vivaldi to the Allman Brothers." So, it's no wonder that the dad and son duo now have similar music tastes!
According to Sam's social media, he and his dad are some of the best of friends. Based on photos, they share an eerie amount of similar features in person. And, as Sam advances through adulthood, the two seem to be enjoying each other's company more and more.
Jada Pinkett-Smith & Willow Smith: Age 20
20-Year-old Willow Smith has undoubtedly matured into the spitting image of her mom! At a glance, it would be easily convincing that these pictures are of the same person. It's no wonder because the genes in the Smith family (both for the guys and gals) must be an area of expertise for Jada and Will.
We aren't sure if it's the almost matching piercings in their right ears, eye color, or nearly twinning eyebrows. No matter how similar they might look, Jada has instilled the vital message of being your own individual onto her children. And, based on their recent happenings, the Smith kids have taken and ran with this advice.
Michael & Prince Jackson: Age 21
"Prince" Jackson, also known as Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., was the first child of, you guessed it, music legend Michael Jackson. Aside from their similar face shape and warm eyes, the two men might have been more alike than we thought. Thought to be discovered thanks to Jackson Sr.'s career, "Prince" found his love for music.
After his father's tragic passing, "Prince" started his own production company called King's Son Production. The organization is said to focus on projects from music videos to feature-length films, with the intention of keeping his father's vivacious spirit alive. What a sweet ode to his old man!
Diana Ross & Tracee Ellis Ross: Age 48
There's simply no denying that Diana Ross and her daughter, Tracee, share the same beautifully bright smile. But their similarities are far from over! Both talented women have had careers in song and behind the screen. Taking her mom's experience as a guide, Tracee built a career for herself as a Motown singer and actress.
When Tracee was asked about her upbringing in relation to Diana's thriving career, she told Good Housekeeping, "Whether she was about to go onstage or busy having a meeting, she never responded with, 'Not now, I don't have time.'" They made time for one another and shared clothes. No wonder these two had so much to smile about!
Rob & Matthew Lowe: Age 28
Both of Rob Lowe's sons have followed in his footsteps by entering the world of Hollywood TV. But, many feel that Matthew, in particular, shares extra similarities with dad. From their face shape and smile lines to their bright eyes, Matthew has surely picked up a hint or two of Rob.
And, based on the Lowe boy's trio TV debut in "The Lowe Files," it's apparent that Matthew and his younger brother, John, also took on their dad's comedic gene. "It was a great way for me to spend time with my boys," Rob recalled of the experience to Insider.
Olivia Newton-John & Chloe Lattanzi: Age 30
Not only do Olivia-Newton John and Chloe Lattanzi share some gorgeous blonde-hair-green-eyed genes, but they also share a talent for singing! In fact, the mother-daughter duo took their relationship to the next level when they recorded and released a duet together in 2021, called "Window In The Wall."
Newton-John gushed to a press release, "There is always something special about singing with my daughter…She not only has a gorgeous voice, she's an amazing musician with tremendous instincts as a singer." From the sound of it, Olivia couldn't be more of a proud mom!
Ralph & Daniel Macchio: Age 25
Actor Ralph Macchio became a teen icon in 1984's Karate Kid. He fell so in love with his role in the movie that he named his first-born son Daniel after his breakout role years later! Back when Ralph was his son's current age, many believed the two had an uncanny resemblance, with even the way their hair flipped being similar!
Reminiscing on his journey through parenthood, Ralph told People, "They're adults, but they're always your kids." We can imagine that rings true for many of the parents on this list. Especially in their cases, given the additional pressure of growing up in the Hollywood spotlight.
Sigourney Weaver & Charlotte Simpson: Age 30
Sigourney Weaver and Charlotte Simpson achieved BFF status many years back. From twinning with their nearly matching hairstyles throughout the years to hitting the beach together this year in similar-style swimsuits. In 2010, Weaver gushed to The Guardian, "My daughter Charlotte is absolutely the most important thing to me."
Is it just us, or has Charlotte grown up to be the spitting image of her mom? Maybe it's the facial features, or maybe it's their spunky and brightly-colored style. We can't quite put our finger on it, but there's one thing we do know for sure: Both women have certainly made their mark in Hollywood!
Sean Penn & Hopper Jack Penn: Age 27
Hopper Jack Penn not only looks like his old man back when he was 27-years-old, but the two even share similar features now! From the looks of it, Sean Penn passed down some great hair genes and his sultry stare. On top of looking similar, Hopper even followed in Sean's footsteps into Hollywood.
The father-son duo has grown to share style tips and, in recent years, the titles of actor and producer for the big screen. As the years go on and their Hollywood resumes expand, the Penn boys seem to look more and more alike. Watch out, Sean; Hopper might just steal the spotlight!
Blythe Danner & Gwyneth Paltrow: Age 48
Copy and paste. That's all we have to say here. But, if we're gonna break it down, let's start from the top. Not only do Blythe and Gwyneth share similar eyebrow shape and bright eye color, but their high cheekbones and smiles are also nearly carbon copies!
And, from the looks of it, their style presences even go hand in hand. These two accomplished women have walked side by side in Hollywood and now have even appeared on Gwyneth's podcast, The Goop Podcast, together! In their episode, they talk about what it was like sharing the big screen and their joint goals for the future.
Mel & Milo Gibson: Age 30
Milo Gibson is one of nine of Mel Gibson's children. But, he is arguably the one that looks the most like him. Many fans believe they share the same bright blue eyes, thick head of hair, and nose. Due to their shared love for football, both Gibson men also have similar athletic statures.
And, as a cherry on top, both have become famous actors as well! When asked if he thinks they resemble each other, Milo told The Times, "People say I look like my dad. I wish!" Gibson doesn't like when his and his father's acting abilities are compared but has admitted that he's learned a lot from his look-alike, Gibson Sr.
Goldie Hawn & Kate Hudson: Age 40
As BFFs and the only girls in their family, Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson share a special kind of mother-daughter relationship. "A mother-daughter bond is very different," Hawn admitted to People. "As we grow older together, I can't express the amount of love, joy, laughter, sadness we share," she continued.
Not only do the talented women look alike in their facial features and blonde locks, but they also share passions for acting and family. Goldie gushed to People, "She understands me. I understand her. We're girls. We share everything. She's, like, the greatest." These two have made it clear; these two are tighter than glue!
Pierce & Sean Brosnan: Age 32
There is no denying that James Bond, we mean Pierce Brosnan, passed along his handsome gene pool to his son, Sean. Not only do these two men share eyes that could make a person swoon, but the title of an actor too! While Pierce leaned more into film production in Hollywood, his son opted for filmmaking.
After being by each other's side for several years in the Hollywood industry, Brosnan Jr. opted to switch career paths. He has left the villain fighting and hostage saving to his old man while exploring options in the mental health profession field. But, he undoubtedly took the good looks with him.
Melanie Griffith & Dakota Johnson: Age 30
From trading off as each other's Golden Globes plus-one's to sharing posts of one another on their social media, it's clear that Melanie Griffith and her daughter Dakota Johnson share a special relationship. The two women resemble each other in their smiles and bangs.
And although the mother and daughter duo don't share the same eye color, many fans believe if Griffith were to have Dakota's hairstyle when she was 30, they arguably would've looked very similar! Despite their minor differences in appearance, they are still believed to resemble each other by many.
David & Brooklyn Beckham: Age 22
With David and Victoria Beckham as parents, many fans of the family believe Brooklyn and his siblings have been blessed in the looks department! When David was his eldest son's age, he was beginning to take over the soccer field. From what we can see, at the age of 22, both men nailed down the soft smile and floppy hair look.
Their similar face shape and features may resemble each other, but above their double-take looks, the Beckham boys share something else. "David's got a tight bond with Brooklyn," said The Sun. Their deep love for family comes before anything else, as seen in their countless social media tributes and family outings.
Kathy & Paris Hilton: Age 40
When Kathy Hilton was 40 years old, she gave the world a glimpse into the beauty she would pass along to her daughters one day. The long blonde hair, big bright eyes, and stellar style have since all made their way to her eldest daughter, Paris. Not only do the ladies share similar features, but similar careers to boot!
Both Hilton ladies hit the screen, played their cards in fashion and design, and have become strong businesswomen across several industries. Now, is it just us, or do these two begin to look more and more similar the longer one looks at this side-by-side?
Tom & Colin Hanks: Age 43
Tom Hanks has become one of the most loved actors in Hollywood, and his son, Colin, is right on his coattails! At first glance, these two could be mistaken as one. They look alike in nearly every facial feature, even their hairlines, and soft smiles! When Colin joined the industry, he didn't realize the weight his name held.
On The Armchair Expert, Colin said: "I was sort of lovingly naive, thinking that [being the son of Tom Hanks] wasn't as big a deal as it is...that I would get the benefit of the doubt that I was my own person." He may not have gotten the benefit of the doubt, but he did get famous genes, and we think that counts for something!
Anna Wintour & Bee Shaffer: Age 33
After being raised in the fashion industry alongside her mom, Anna Wintour, Bee picked up some things along the way. And we're not talking just about style tips! The mom and daughter sport many similar facial traits such as eyebrows, noses, and warm smiles. Even back when Wintour was 33, the duo looks torn from the same cloth.
On top of the visible similarities, Shaffer told Teen Vogue that there was something else she picked up from Wintour. "The one thing I inherited from my mum is I really like to go to bed early," she admitted. Shaffer has reported being in bed by 11 p.m. and up by 6 a.m. No snooze button for these lookalikes!
Madonna & Lourdes Leon: Age 25
What's life like when you're the daughter of Hollywood royalty? Sure, it has its perks. But according to the Queen of Pop's daughter? 25-year-old Lourdes has actually got bigger things to worry about. And perhaps we could all learn a thing or two from her...
"It's not about the money or your face or how hot you look," she recalled of the lesson her mom instilled in her. Instead? "It's about what you're bringing into the world and what you're going to leave behind. That always shakes me awake when I get too caught up in everything."
Reese Witherspoon & Ava Phillippe: Age 20
Still can't believe Harvard's golden girl already has a 20-something-year-old daughter? Neither can she. In fact, just thinking about her daughter, Ava Phillippe makes Reese Witherspoon want to cry. But don't worry - we're only talking happy tears here.
"I never expected the kind of relationship that I have with them... it's so rewarding," the Legally Blonde actress confessed of watching her little ones grow up. And while we can't quite tell ya if Ava feels comfortable using legal jargon in everyday life, we're expecting nothing but great things from Reese's mini-me...
Kris Jenner & Kim Kardashian: Age 35
"You're doing great, sweetie!" Momma Kris has been blessing us with nonstop laughs ever since welcoming us into her Calabasas home back in 2006. But ever wonder what life was like before Keeping Up With the Kardashians? We're actually looking right at it...
Back in the early '90s, this 30-something-year-old was happily married to her Olympic-medalist husband with 4 children. And while her reality looks very different these days, we can't help but admire just how much young Kris looks like Kimmy. Seriously, it's like looking in a mirror...
Kate Moss & Lila Grace Hack: Age 19
Back in the '90s, there was Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, and of course Kate Moss. But in today's day and age, we've been introduced to a entire new era of it-girls - including none other than Moss's mini-me. And, well, are we really that surprised here?
One look at the side-by-side, and it's clear good genes run in the family. Perhaps that's why it's no surprise the 19-year-old has already kick-started her career as a jet-setting supermodel. Milan Fashion Week? Check. Cover Girl of Vogue? She might be young, but we'd certainly learn her name if we were you.
Lori Loughlin & Olivia Jade: Age 22
Whatever happened to predictability? This Full House beauty first graced our television screens decades ago, but her daughter has since followed in her footsteps - and then some. That's right. Name ringing a bell? There's actually good reason for that.
Unfortunately, the YouTube blogger eventually herself embroiled in a college admissions scandal. But from her contagious charm to her massive following, we've got a feeling we'll still be hearing lots more about the famous influencer in years to come.
Kylie Jenner & Stormi Webster: Age 3
It's hard to imagine Kylie Jenner as anything other than the billionaire boss lady that she is today. But back in 2000, the Kylie Cosmetics queen was simply known as the Kardashian Klan's youngest. As we all know, though, a whole lot has changed since then.
Aside from building her very own empire, the reality star has also gone on to start her very own family. And while Kylie and Travis Scott's daughter, Stormi, might just be 3-years-old, we're expecting big things from the superstar-in-the-making. We'd keep up.
Eminem & Hailie Jade: Age 25
Eminem wasn't lying when he said, "My baby girl keeps getting older, I watch her grow up with pride." The Hailie's Song rapper has been paying tribute to his baby girl for decades now. Though from the looks of it? Hailie Jade is officially all grown up.

And from the looks of it, it's certainly paid off. From his thriving acting career to his time as a well-respected model, Scott's time being known as "Clint Eastwood's son" is officially no longer. We'd certainly learn his name - he's just getting started.
Carrie Fisher & Billie Lourd: Age 29
The force was definitely with Carrie Fisher when she welcomed her baby girl into the world. The late Star Wars actress has been blessing our screens for decades. But it appears her talented daughter, Billie Lourd, has picked up right where she left off.
Not only has the 29-year-old beauty found herself in several award-winning productions over the years, but she's kept her mother's memory alive in doing so. Safe to say, Carrie Fisher might have met an untimely fate, but her legacy is bound to live on forever.
Mick & Georgia May Jagger: Age 29
The youngest daughter of supermodel Jerry Hall and this Rolling Stones icon may not have inherited dad's guitar skills. But that's okay. In fact, Georgia May has already paved her own path in Hollywood. And it's already landed her on endless magazine covers and runways around the globe.
That's right. The 29-year-old beauty has become a well-known face in the modeling world. And honestly? We can see why. From Georgia May's distinguishable features to her effortless style, it's almost like we're seeing double here. Though, no word yet on her dance moves...
Jennifer Connelly & Kai Dugan: Age 16
Although Kai has clearly inherited his mother's good looks, he has not decided to share his face with the rest of the world - choosing a more private life for himself. His mother, Jennifer Connelly, was already modeling from the young age of 10, and this is perhaps why she worked so hard to keep her son out of the spotlight.
Connelly rose to fame with movie roles in Labyrinth, A Beautiful Mind, and Requiem for a Dream. Kai may only be 16, but he has expressed no interest in an acting career so far. If he decides he's ready one day, his mom probably has a few contacts she can call on his behalf! Watch this space.
Shaquille & Myles O'Neal: Age 24
They may not be father and son by blood, but this step-father step-son duo has matching million-dollar smiles. After taking on his step-father's last name, Myles has done the name proud. With his father's huge NBA size shoes to fill, Myles has forged his own career path in the entertainment industry.
At 13, Myles appeared on Basketball Wives alongside his mother. However, like his father, who was first drafted into the NBA at the age of 20, Myles' career truly kicked off when he was 21 with the start of his modeling and DJing career. Although different industries, the O'Neal men have set the bar high for 24-year-olds!
Jamie Lynn & Maddie Spears: Age 10
These two adorable blonde faces are both parts of a sister duo. Jamie Lynn rose to fame as the star of Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 and the younger sister of the pop queen Britney Spears. Maddie, on the other hand, is the older sister to Ivey. Maddie has clearly inherited her mother's adorable looks.
Following in her mother's Nickelodeon's footsteps, Maddie has made appearances on their popular game show Double Dare as well as various ads for Kraft Cheese alongside her mom. Despite this, Maddie has lived a mostly private life, unlike her mom, who became a household name at age 16 with her controversial teenage pregnancy.
Candace Cameron & Natasha Bure: Age 18
At 18, Candance Cameron was already a national star. The actress was filming the 7th season of the series Full House, where she played DJ Tanner. Her eldest daughter, Natasha Bure, may not have been as famous as her mom at 18, but still, they have many similarities.
For one, the mother-daughter duo looked nearly identical! And secondly, Bure also took an interest in the entertainment industry - just not exactly the same route as her mom. When Bure was 18, she auditioned on the 11th season of The Voice. Her vocals stunned the judges, and she passed to the next round.
David & Taylor Hasselhoff: Age 30
David Hasselhoff is arguably best known for his role on Baywatch. But that didn't air till he was 37 years old. When the actor was 30, he was starring in Knight Rider as Michael Knight. While he was constantly in the public eye, his daughter Taylor Hasselhoff hasn't been active in her acting career for a few years.
When she hit 30, it had been nearly 5 years since her last role on Sharknado. Whether she's actively performing or not, it seems like David always supports her decisions. She revealed that her famous father told her, "This is something that you want to do, then you have to give it your 110% and never half."
