Turns out we aren't the only ones reeling from Conan O'Brien's announcement that his show had come to an end. In the days following the news, comics took to social media to share their best Conan memories and send well-wishes. Let's take a look at some of our top picks.
Mindy Kaling took to Twitter to commemorate this moment in comedy-history. The 42-year-old comedian had a two-fold message to share with her followers, and it finished with that classic Mindy touch: "You're the best of the best. Thanks for always being the funniest person in the room, but more importantly being kind," Kaling tweeted. But she wasn't done just yet. "Also congrats to me: I look f**king great in this photo," the Emmy-winning actress continued.

Next up we had the legendary John Cleese. But instead of basking in his limelight, he had some kind words to share about Conan. And the message ended on a positive note for Conan fans. "Looking forward to your next adventure my friend!" That's right: Conan's departure wasn't a "goodbye," rather a "see you later" for the celebrated talk show host. And just like Cleese, we can't wait to see what lies ahead for O'Brien.
And there was another comedy giant eager to shout out Conan for his career, not only as a comedian, but as a mentor as well. Som Morill, a comedian and regular on Conan's late-night show. "Conan is the best," the seasoned stand-up mogul shared. "A versatile interviewer who had the rare ability to pull back and let another comic shine, but who could also save the interview if the guest was a dud." Morill also had a great deal of appreciation for O'Brien, as he was "the only late night show to have me back."
Conan's impact over his multi-decade career has left a serious mark, and we couldn't agree more that "Whatever he does next, he will kill it!"
