We'll be honest, we didn't have this on our Celebrity Friendship bingo card, but we're not mad about it one bit. It turns out that the queen of rap and the king of psycho boyfriends have struck up an unlikely friendship.

Just like the rest of us who have binged the first three seasons of Netflix's You, Cardi B has found herself incredibly fascinated with the cast involved in the dramatic thriller series - especially Penn Badgley. The 34-year-old actor has captured the attention of the internet with his incredibly believable portrayal of Joe, an obsessive psychopath who commits passionate murders in the pursuit of "the one." And Cardi B has clearly counted herself in the Penn Badgley fan group. The 29-year-old rapper hit up Twitter to reveal her latest Netflix obsession with her 19.3 million followers.

The Rumors artist even went so far as to change her display icon on Twitter to a picture of Penn in all his psychotic Joe glory: an ominous shot of the obsessed romantic staring out of a window. We got the chills just looking at it. But the move was reciprocated! The former Gossip Girl star matched Cardi's energy and changed his icon to a picture of Cardi rocking an electric purple hairstyle. And just when we thought this social media exchange couldn't get funnier, the mother of two kicked it up a notch. The Grammy Award-winning artist took the bold next step of even tweeting at her Netflix star, tagging him in a video poking fun at their coordinated icon pics. "Is that you? Is that me?" a toddler asked while looking at himself in selfie mode.

But let's not forget that the friendship roots go way back between these two, even if Cardi didn't know it at the time. A Twitter video has begun trending from an interview Penn and Shay Mitchell did following the season one hype. Badgley gave a shout-out to the WAP singer, who, in his eyes, is a social media goddess, and Cardi B just saw it earlier this week. "Yoooo like I'm famous famous," the rapper tweeted.
