Chris Rock isn't exactly known for playing it safe and polite. So when he took to the 92nd Academy Awards show, to open with some one liners, all bets were off. If only Jeff Bezos knew what was coming...
The annual Oscars took place last night at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre, with comedians Chris Rock and Chris Martin opening the awards show. As expected, they took the time to throw some jabs at audience members, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
Just because he's richer than any of us will ever be, doesn't mean he was safe from their hilarious roasts.

"He's got cash. When he writes a check, the bank bounces," Rock joked after announcing the billionaire's attendance. "Like, Jeff Bezos is so rich, he got divorced and he's still the richest man in the world."
Martin quickly joined in, saying that he preferred his packages "on time". Lucky for Bezos, that's about where the roasting ended, sparing the attendee from further jabs.
The entrepreneur seemed to take the jokes well, laughing along in the audience. As the comedians joked, the Amazon founder called it quits with his wife of over 25 years, MacKenzie this year.
The couple finally reached an agreement this past summer, with Bezos' ex-wife collecting about $38 billion in Amazon shares. Despite the setback, the settlement still put Bezos ahead of Bill Gates' $99.5 billion net worth. Suddenly I feel very poor...
