While no one's officially revealed what, exactly, is 'happening', it's been reported by Variety that we can expect an unscripted special on HBO Max. The streaming platform is also set to host all 236 episodes of the the show.
A date for the special has yet to be dropped, but one can assume it'll come around summer time, as the streaming service launches in May.
The cast, who'll be filming at Stage24, the same set they'd filmed Friends at, are expected to rake in $2.5 million for the reunion, as Variety reports.
"It taps into an era when friends – and audiences – gathered together in real time...this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans.” said Kevin Reilly, the channel's chief content officer.
