We've all had our fair share of toothaches and dentist horror stories. But this man in India has just given us a run for our money with his record-breaking tooth. Pawan Bhavsar, 20 went to the dentist with abnormal pains in his mouth...little did he know what he was in for.
The engineering student had gone to a dental clinic in the Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh with pain, swelling, and blisters within his mouth. Sure enough, his dentist, Dr. Saurabh Srivastava decided to extract 2 of his teeth.
In what should've been a typical tooth extraction turned into a record-breaking fiasco. You see, the larger of the teeth measured in at a whopping 1.53 inches long...So it's not exactly much of a shock that the tooth took over the Guinness World Record for the world's longest tooth.
Thankfully, it's reported that 20-year-old Pawan has since made a full recovery and is no longer suffering from any oral problems. While we're happy to hear this story have a happy ending, it's definitely just given me another reason to fear the dreaded dental office...
