Very nice! We know, it's only just arrived, but there's a good chance your timeline has already been flooded with hilarious references to Sacha Baron Cohen's "Actual masterpiece," as Amy Schumer put it, otherwise known as Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
Feeling overwhelmed? Don't worry, we've got you covered. Feel free to ditch that neon mankini, because this time around, Borat 2 is taking us far from Kazakhstan, all the way to the United States of America; And, lucky for you, the reviews are officially in! Ever since we found out that Borat was coming back, we've been waiting anxiously ever since.
So, what exactly are people saying? Or better yet, what exactly did our favorite 'journalist' get up to, this time? For starters, expect a whole lot of laughs: "I am not exaggerating when I say that #borat2 is the funniest movie you may ever see," as comedian Amy Schumer perfectly put it.
But she's not the only one who feels that way. In fact, funny guy Seth Rogen loved it so much, he's seen the sequel around 6 times already - and you can bet there's going to be a 7th. How did he put it? "It also has a few of the funniest scenes I’ve ever seen in a movie."
Of course, though, while most of us have yet to headline stand-up Netflix specials or star in A-list comedies, that doesn't mean we can't appreciate a good laugh like Schumer and Rogen. In fact, one look on Twitter and fans like you and us can't seem to get enough of Borat's latest endeavors.
I will admit Borat 2 is better than the first one. pic.twitter.com/UPc3wzFh3t— Chibi Rini A Dave’s wife (@ChibiRiniRoo) October 24, 2020
Yep, the verdict is officially in: If you haven't already, you might want to head on over to your Amazon Prime (or at least find a friend who has one) to see what all of the hype is about for yourself.
